The Placement Cell of the United Institute of Technology has always been successful in placing students in multinational companies. The Training and Placement Cell upskills their students in such a way that they are ready to face the corporate world. The main motive of the Placement cell is to provide placement opportunities to each and every student studying at the United Institute of Technology.

The three-stage training process of the United Institute of Technology is beneficial for students to gain confidence in attending the interviews. The whole training process of the Placement Cell of United Institute of Technology comprises of training modules including Presentation, Listening Skills, Creativity, Verbal Reasoning, Speed Mathematics, Personal Grooming and Team Building.

The Placement Cell of the United Institute of Technology conducts Group Discussion, Aptitude Test and Soft Skills sessions at regular intervals, preparing the students for final placement round. Various multinational companies will be invited to the campus of the UIT Coimbatore to offer placements to students. About 215 Students of all branches got placed in top recruiting companies like IDBI Federal Bank, Amazon, HGS, Allsec Technologies, Exterro and Mphasis in 2018 Placement Season.        

Training and Placement Cell of UIT sincerely believes in comprehensively training the students to face the corporate world and have a successful professional career. The training programs encompass a three stage process to train the students to make them ready for the industry and develop the students to face the corporate world.

Special emphasis is made to train the students to meet the requirements of the information technology industry through e-learning. This facilitates the students to learn technologies of the information technology industry in a scientific manner through a structured path, on 24X7 basis, at a pace suitable for individual students. Our college has entered in to a tie up with an industry leader for the delivery of this program.

Almost, all the eligible students have been placed in reputed companies with some of them having more than one offer.

The Goal of Training and Placement Cell is to provide career guidance and placement opportunities to 100% students studying in UIT.

Functions of the Training and Placement Cell

• Organizing MNCs On - campus as well as off-campus selection activities.
• Inviting HR Person to address students on self-enhancement, confidence building, Career awareness program, etc.
• Conducting Aptitude test, GD and soft skills programs to students.
• Interacting with recruiters for campus placement.
• Conducting Campus Recruitment
• Preparing the placed students making them Campus ready.
•  All industry Institute Interaction activities to develop knowledge and skills of students

Training and Placement Cell offers Career Development Program for the students who are interested to enter the corporate world and introduce them to the prospective employers according to their aspirations and background.

The Training programs have been formulated after a thorough analysis of unique requirement of various companies as the required skills will vary according to the company’s requirement.
