Vinayaka Mission's Law School admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination. Vinayaka Mission's Law School admission process is handled by the VMLS Admission Committee. Admissions at VMLS Chennai are done on the basis of VLAT score, academic performance, and SoP (Statement of Purpose). VMRF Law Aptitude Test is an entrance test specifically designed by legal academics and practitioners to test the candidate’s aptitude for legal education. 

The VLAT 2023 question paper consists of two sections, namely Logical Reasoning and English Comprehension, with each section containing 20 objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The duration of the VLAT 2023 is set at 60 minutes. The mode of examination is online AI Proctored. The test is conducted in both English and Tamil. In terms of scoring, each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. All questions in the VLAT are mandatory, meaning that students are required to attempt every question in the given time frame.

VLAT 2023 Important Dates

• To carry on with the Vinayaka Mission's Law School admission process, candidates need to register themselves by visiting the official website.
• Candidates then need to verify their email address.
• After that candidates need to fill up the application process. Those candidates who wish to apply offline can skip the above two steps. They can visit the VMRF University Office to collect the application.
• Candidates after completing the VMLS application process need will receive the admission offer letter or hall ticket.
• Candidates then need to obtain a valid rank in VLAT.
• Candidates who meet the VMLS cut off will be provided the provisional admission letter at the time of counselling.

VMLS Online Application Process

• To start with the VMLS Chennai application process, candidates need to fill up the VMLS application form and upload the documents by visiting the VMLS Chennai official website.
• Candidates need to fill up the SoP in the next step. Statement of Purpose must be submitted in either English or Tamil. SoP must include the candidate’s driving force behind pursuing the law programme within 200 words.
• Finally, candidates need to pay the Vinayaka Mission's Law School application fee online.

VMLS Offline Application Process

• Candidates need to fill up the offline VMLS application form offline and affix the candidate photograph and signature.
• Candidates need to fill up the SoP and submit it in either English or Tamil. SoP must include the candidate’s driving force behind pursuing the law programme within 200 words.
• Finally, candidates need to pay the VMLS application fee of Rs 250 through DD/cash and submit/post the completed application form to the address given:
