JEECUP 2025 Cutoff: Factors Determining the Cutoff

There are several factors that determine the cutoff criteria for the exam. Check out these factors here:

  • Those who belong to the reserved categories, such as ST, SC, EWS, and others, will have different qualifying marks & cutoff. These categories will tend to have lower qualifying marks and cutoffs in comparison to the other general categories.
  • The difficulty level of the JEECUP question papers also helps in identifying the cutoff criteria for the students. The easier the exam is, the higher the cutoff will be; the more difficult the exam is, the lower the cutoff will be.
  • If the number of candidates appearing in the exam is higher than the number of seats available in the participating colleges, the cutoff will be higher. And in case there are more seats and fewer participants, the cutoff will be lower.
  • The more number of candidates appearing in the exam will result in higher cutoff where as less candidates appearing in the exam will result in low cutoffs.
  • The programs & college availability also play an important role in determining the cutoff for the JEECUP exam.
