The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) response sheet will be released on May 22, 2025, and following the response sheet, the JEE Advanced 2025 answer key will be released on May 26, 2025. If one does not lock their choices, the last saved choices will be locked automatically upon reaching the deadline for the JoSAA choice filling. The automatically locked choice list will be considered for allocating a seat during the JoSAA counselling process.
In case, a new seat is not allotted to a candidate in the CSAB-Special round, then the JoSAA seat will be retained with the candidates.
In the JoSAA choice filling process, candidates are allowed to enter and arrange their choices of institutes and colleges according to their wish to be admitted to. Candidates are suggested to fill as many choices as possible in order of their preference to increase their chances of seat allotment in JoSAA.
The partial JoSAA admission fee is set at INR 20,000 for the SC/ST category students and Rs 40,000 for the General, OBC, and EWS category students.

Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following two criteria: Must have qualified and secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination and the aggregate marks for the SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
