HNBUMU Uttarakhand MBBS Admission 2023: The last date of joining the allocated colleges is September 21, 2023. The Uttarakhand MBBS Admission round 3 seat allotment result has been published on September 18, 2023. Any discrepancy in provisional allotment will be entertained till September 19. The last date of joining the allotted institute is September 21, 2023. The last date to register for HNBUMU Uttarakhand MBBS 2023 Counselling Round III was September 13, 2023.

Uttarakhand MBBS Admission 2023 Round 3 Allotment Result

The registration process for the 3rd Round of Counselling began on September 8, 2023. The last date for withdrawal of the allocated seat in Round I and II was September 14, 2023. The last date to report to college for Uttarakhand MBBS 2023 Counselling Round 2 was September 4, 2023.

The seat allotment result for round 2 counselling was released by the concerned authorities on its official website @meta-secure.com/HNBUMU_NEETUG. Uttarakhand MBBS 2023 Counselling Round 2 registration commenced from August 15, 2023 onwards. HNBUMU, popularly known as Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical University is responsible for conducting Uttarakhand MBBS Admissions. The varsity has the authority to conduct MBBS admissions for 85% of seats available under the state merit quota. The rest of the 15% seats are under All-India Quota (AIQ) for which the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling process.

Uttarakhand MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2023

Educational Requirements: NEET-UG 2023 score is mandatory to register for the admission to MBBS course in Uttarakhand. The applicants must note that they should have scored qualifying marks in NEET-UG 2023 as prescribed by NTA.

Similarly, candidates belonging to General Category must have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12, and they should have studied Biology, Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects. For reserved and PH categories, the minimum qualifying mark in Class 12 should be 45%.

Domicile Rules: only those applicants who have passed Class 10 & Class 12 from Uttarakhand are eligible for the admission to MBBS course.

Similarly, candidates who do not belong to Uttarakhand, and have completed Class 10 & and Class 12 from Uttarakhand are eligible for the admission to MBBS course.

On the other hand, candidates who are non-residents of Uttarakhand state but passed Class 10 & Class 12 from Uttarakhand are also eligible for the admission to MBBS course.

Age Limit: As per CBSE, the lower age limit of the applicants should be 17 years (as on December 31), and the upper age limit of the candidates is 25 years.

Uttarakhand MBBS Application Process 2023

Step I: All the candidates who clear NEET-UG 2023 and are domicile of Uttarakhand, are eligible to register for Uttarakhand MBBS admissions 2023. Firstly, the candidates will have to visit the official website of HNBUMU. Click on the relevant link to register for MBBS admissions on the official website. While registering to the first/ second/ Mop-up round counselling, it is mandatory to enter NEET-UG roll number, NEET-UG application number and valid mobile number.

Step II: After the successful completion of the above-mentioned step, the candidates will receive a verification code on their registered mobile number. The candidates must enter the verification code to fill the online application.

Step III: The online application form opens after entering the verification code. After filling the online application form with correct details, the candidates must upload the self-attested scanned copies of the following documents: -

  • Class 10 Certificate
  • Class 12 Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • NEET-UG Result Card/ Rank Card
  • NEET-UG Admit Card
  • Caste or Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate/ Residence Certificate
  • PWD Certificate (if applicable)

Step IV: Submit the online application form after uploading the above-mentioned documents. Proceed to the payment of the counselling fee. The counselling fee can be paid in online mode. Candidates will have to pay INR 2,000 towards counselling fee. The online application process completes with this last step.

Uttarakhand MBBS Admissions Selection Process 2023

Based on the choices/ preferences of candidates, NEET-UG merit, academic record and reservation policy, the admission authority will allocate MBBS admission to the candidates. The admission authority will release seat allotment results and the candidates can check the same from the official website.

Uttarakhand MBBS Merit List 2023

The counselling authority prepares a state-level MBBS merit list based on the NEET-UG merit of the candidates. Candidates with the highest marks and rank in NEET-UG Uttarakhand will be placed in the top order of the merit list. The preparation of the merit list is also based on the reservation policy of the state.
