Students who are interested in taking admission to the BBA course at PCTE must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria given below.

• Candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 (Class 12th / Intermediate / HSC) or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized board / council.

• Candidates from any stream of education are eligible to apply for the BBA course at PCTE.

• Candidate must have passed Matriculation (Class 10 / High School / SSC) examinations from a recognized board. AND

• Candidate must have passed a minimum-year Diploma course or equivalent in any stream from any of the following.

  • Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or

  • Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal or

  • Any other recognised State Board of Technical Education

PCTE Group of Institutes BBA Selection Process 2020

The selection of candidates for BBA at PCTE Group of Institutes is done on the basis of merit as per marks scored in the qualifying examination. Candidates do not have to appear for any entrance test.

BBA admissions at PCTE Group of Institutes are done through a Counselling and Interaction session conducted by the institutes. Candidates are required to be physically present for the admission procedure.

Candidates aspiring to take admission to the MBA courses offered by PCTE Group of Institutes must satisfy the minimum requirements given below.

The selection of candidates for the MBA course at PCTE Group of Institutes is done as given below:

• No entrance test is required for MBA admissions at PCTE Group of Institutes.

• The selection of candidates is done on merit-basis.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech course offered by PCTE Group of Institutes is as follows.

• Candidate must have completed 10 + 2 (Class 12 / Intermediate / HSC) examination conducted by a recognized board.

• Candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any of Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocation subject.

• Candidate must have received a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

The candidates applying for BPharm course at PCTE Group of Institutes must ensure that they satisfy the requirements given below.

• Candidate must have studied Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects and any of Biology / Biotechnology / Mathematics subjects in the qualifying exam.

• Candidate must have received a minimum aggregate score of 50% in the qualifying examination.

For BPharm Lateral Entry

• Candidate must have passed the Diploma of Pharmacy course approved by PCI / AICTE.

• The diploma must be issued by an institution affiliated to:

  • Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training / Punjabi University, Patiala OR

  • any State Board of Technical Education OR

  • any other University

• The selection process of candidates for the BPharm course at PCTE Group of Institutes is on the basis of norms set by IK Gujaral Punjab Technical University.

• Admission is done on the basis merit based on marks scored by a candidate in the qualifying exam.

• After the declaration of result of the qualifying exam, candidates are required to appear for the counselling as per the schedule given by the institute.

• Candidates are given on-the-spot admission on the basis of the counselling and are required to submit the 1st semester immediately after admission. 

Candidates seeking admission to the MPharm course at PCTE Group of Institutes must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria as specified below.

• The selection of candidates for the MPharm course at PCTE Group of Institutes is done as per the norms set by IKG Punjab Technical University.

• Candidates who have applied for the MPharm course at PCTE Group of Institutes are given admission on merit basis as per marks scored in the qualifying examination.
