Overall: In bailahongal the education system is very sistemetic and good natur .Under the bailahongal taluku all villages students having post graduation in bailahongal.and all becoming the good profession in life .

Infrastructure: Located in Belgaum with an area spread over 25.9 sq. km., Bailhongal has potential for new MSMEs like fabrication, heavy structural engineering works, electrical and civil engineering enterprises, hotels, hospitals, agriculture, farm and milking. The major exportable items are valves, pumps, machine components, sugar, safety helmets and casting. The major minerals are bauxite, limestone, dolomite, quartzite and aluminous laterite and the minor minerals include building stone, ordinary clay and grey granite. Nearest railway station is Belgaum railway station and the nearest airport is Belagavi airport.
