BCom at LPU : Courses and Fees 2024

Overall: My experience in lu is quite good. This is one of the best college in India for young minds where you get to learn so many things in study along with good social life

Placement: Lpu comes top in placements after iits and iims. Lpu is absolutely perfect place if you are looking placement as primary criteria to get admission in private college. All the top mncs and startup are having collaboration with lpu.

Infrastructure: Lpu has one of the best infrastructure in whole India. You will get 60+ buildings here in lpu along with gym, shopping mall, sports ground, local shops etc

Faculty: Course curriculum and teaching methodology in lpu is satisfying. Yes you will get few very experienced faculty who will help you learn your course syllabus in a very smooth manner but yes some faculties are quite young and inexperienced.

Hostel: You can fully enjoy your hostel life here in lpu but yes there are some rules which you have to follow. Drugs, smoking etc not allowed inside hostel premises if you caught you will get umc from college side. Lpu is absolutely strict with their rules and regulations you will definitely enjoy your life it's absolutely safe for both boys and girls but some things you have to keep in mind like nonveg, smoking, drinking not allowed inside the building.

Overall: Lovely Professional University offers an array of learning experiences as well corporate exposure. Under the Industry Immersion program of LPU, you will get chances to intern with giants like Microsoft, Cognizant, and, Infosys, depending on your performance and course. In order to get admission to LPU, one can avail of many scholarships after clearing the LPUNEST exam. The college atmosphere is lively and positive. Talking about the infrastructural facilities, the Fun Zone is the best part. Other facilities include hostels, dining, shopping, as well as an ATM and Hospital at the campus. Moreover, the teachers are friendly and competent.

Placement: As many of you might be aware, LPU was recently in the news for attaining a tremendously high package. Yasir M, a B.Tech CSE pass out, was offered a CTC of Rs 3 crore per annum by an MNC in Germany. Apart from this, the overall placement rate is 90%. Top recruiters include Google, Apple, Wipro, and, Cognizant while the average CTC is Rs 7 lakh per annum.

Infrastructure: LPU has one of the largest campuses in India. The campus has an area of 600 acres! The academic infrastructure is good. The classrooms are spacious, the seminar halls and auditoriums are optimally utilised, as well as the various labs are well-maintained. Moreover, other amenities like a shopping area, a dining area, a cafeteria, hostels, a fun zone, banking facilities, and the university hospital, give an edge to the campus construction.

Faculty: The staff and professors are well-experienced. The examination and assessment pattern is smooth and transparent. We can also see our answer sheets after checking if we feel that the marking is not just. However, you can make this a habit! The curriculum is extensive and industry-oriented. Meaning to say that internships and guest lectures provide the much needed exposure in today’s corporate world.

Overall: Lovely Professional University is one of the largest private universities in India. In my opinion, there is hardly any course that LPU does not offer. I am currently in the second year of the B.Com course. The university is very student friendly and spends a good amount on facilities and infrastructure. Our university has one of the top recognitions from the academic council for courses curriculum and placement record. Over 30,000 students are there in the university and the number of faculty members is nearly 4000.

Placement: Lovely Professional University placement for commerce students is highly satisfactory. More than 70 companies visited during the previous campus placement drive. Approximately 150 students from our senior batch appeared for the placement drive and 100+ of them got the job. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Myntra, Dell, IBM and Airtel hired students. For the B.Com course, the highest placement package offered was Rs 16 LPA to one of our seniors. Additionally, LPU collaborates with numerous top businesses, including IBM, Infosys, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and many others, giving students access to real-world industry knowledge.

Infrastructure: There are many clubs and societies at the university, including ones for the arts, literature, sports, and technology. LPU infrastructure e is one of the plus points of the university. The facilities offered by the university are not necessities, in fact, luxury. There are multiple labs available for students so that each student can learn and grow. The departmental stores are more of a shopping complex and ATMs are inside the university campus. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a super fast internet speed. The classrooms are smart and the lecture halls are fully air-conditioned.

Faculty: There are approximately 4000 faculties available at the university for different courses. For the B.Com programme, each faculty has a replacement available in case required. The management, economics, and business mathematics teachers hold a PhD degree in their relevant fields. The semester-wise examination is conducted twice and year and only students who have 75% and above attendance are allowed to appear for the semester examination. To clear the semester examination, students have to get at least 40% marks in each subject.

Hostel: LPU hostels are very nice, clean and hygienic. The hostels are equipped with gyms, indoor and outdoor sports complexes, cafeterias, common rooms, town halls, green and open areas for students and shopping areas. The hostel occupancy is available for 25000+ students and the meal is served for 60000+ students on a daily basis. There is a parking facility available for the residing students and laundry service is provided on a chargeable basis.

Overall: The majority of colleges connected to Aktu are to blame. There are numerous colleges that are affiliated with Aktu. As a result, AKTU is ineffective because it is primarily operated by private institutions, and there are only a few top-notch ones. Uneven distribution of grades in the final semesters is another issue that frustrates students who have been admitted to AKTU colleges. A person who didn't even attempt all the questions was nonetheless able to receive higher points than someone who did. You will notice it after a few semesters that a student who excelled in the previous semester may fall behind in the upcoming one. As a quick note, let me just suggest that if all you want is a degree now but later on discover another passion or goal, go for it. (That, too, is from a respectable Aktu college). However, if you are certain that you can succeed in the JEE or another engineering entrance exam, go for it without hesitation.

Overall: LPU provides fantastic facilities which make the college experience of every LPU student memorable. The syllabus is interesting as is according to what is asked for in the professional sphere. Students are prepared for the industry during their course and the teachers are very helpful. The extracurricular activities at LPU are of many diverse areas. The college fests are always a highlight of the academic session and students not only have fun but learn a lot as well.
