BDes at LPU : Courses and Fees 2024

Overall: This college is very big and beautiful. The faculties of this college are awesome. The food of canteen is good. The security system of this college is also good. College provide all the amenties like gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking services, a full-fledged library, a canteen and other amenities are available to students.

Placement: The training and placement cell ensures that top and multinational companies recognize the students’ potential and hire them at the reputed designation.

Infrastructure: College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Our classroom have all the facilities like projectors, Wi-Fi, Library Facility, and smart classes are available in this institute

Faculty: They provide you with the best of the best faculty some of the teachers their are alumni of the college itself who have served in army and now wanted to build people like them .

Hostel: a table, steel almirah, warm water in winter season , water cooler for drinking water in summers . Meals are provided 4 times, Breakfast, Lunch, evening snacks and dinner. There's a special meal every Sunday.

Overall: Our department prides itself on modern infrastructure, featuring spacious classrooms and well-equipped labs. Despite some challenges in the computer lab, the library stands out as a repository of knowledge. However, hostel facilities require enhancements to ensure student comfort and well-being, while medical facilities remain readily accessible.

Overall: Opting for this course was driven by its promising career prospects and potential for personal growth. Remain agile in competitive landscape, there's a need to prioritize practical learning and stay abreast of emerging technologies. Despite academic pursuits, the vibrant campus life fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among students.

Overall: Lovely Professional University is not just a decent choice among the private universities in India, but it also provides study abroad opportunities. There are many schemes of the university like the international credit transfer program, semester exchange program, and, master’s abroad program which will give you a worthwhile chance to gain international exposure. However, you must qualify the eligibility criteria to avail any of such programs. Now talking about my experience at LPU, in one short, it was truly enriching. I developed socially, academically, as well as intellectually at the university. The faculty is mostly good and the placement training they provide is extensive.

Placement: Placement-wise also LPU is good. Not to mention it made headlines recently when Yasir M, one of our senior alumnus bagged a package of Rs 3 crore by a German MNC. Apart from this, the placement training is very good. The average CTC remains around Rs 5 lakh per annum and maximum placements are made in the B.Tech and MBA courses.

Infrastructure: As many of you would know, LPU is renowned for its world class infrastructure. They do charge a bit costly fees, but they also provide complete value for the money they take. The campus is serene and is spread across 600 acres of land. There are hostels also available on campus for males and females. Moreover, the library is huge and well-resourced. Apart from this we have facilities like fun zone, hospital on campus, ATM, laundry, canteens and dining area, etc.

Faculty: The course curriculum, as well as the teaching methods of LPU, are class apart. They not only aim to provide comprehensive learning but also believe in practical learning. Most of the professors in my department were highly experienced in their fields. They had ample teaching experience and were always ready to help us.

Hostel: LPU provides 100% value for money to its hostellers. The hostel capacity is huge with around 25,000 seats available. The buildings are separate for boys and girls. The dining halls for each of the hostels serve fresh and tasty food. There is an in-house laundry facility which provides washed and ironed clothes at a nominal price. There is a huge indoor stadium for hostellers along with ATM and shopping facilities.

Overall: Lovely Professional University which is popularly known as LPU, is one of the most popular private universities in Phagwara, Punjab. The university has its own pros and cons as per my experience. As for the placements, I believe that the placement records are increasing in every consecutive year. The highest CTC for the last year was Rs 3 crore per annum which is huge. The quality of education at the university is decent. You will find a variety of professors, some will be very dedicated while some will be simply ignorant. The campus life is very vibrant. Events and seminars are held from time to time.

Placement: LPU placement department is dedicated. They conduct activities like mock interviews, group discussions, aptitude tests, as well as personality development sessions. Many times esteemed speakers are called for guest lectures. The average placement rate is 90% and almost all the students receive placement offers. I also got the chance to pursue an internship at Microsoft during my course which really benefitted me.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful in the majority of the cases. They are always willing to lend a helping hand to us. Currently, there are around 4,000 faculty members at the university which is huge. The course curriculum is also relevant, however, some subjects have too much theory and no practical learning.

Hostel: Hostels are provided for girls and boys. More than 25,000 hostellers reside on campus and more than 60,000 meals are served each day. Despite the huge quantity of meals prepared, the quality of food is good. The prices are also affordable barring some items which are a bit costly. You can also easily avail of the laundry service of the hostels at nominal prices and ge washed and ironed clothes. There is also a sick room at the hostels.
