NMAT by GMAC vs MAH CET MBA: Eligibility Criteria

All candidates aspiring to appear for NMAT by GMAC or MAH CET MBA must first go through the eligibility criteria of the exam and check whether they qualify them or not.

NMAT by GMAC: The candidate must have completed his/ her bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institute with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate. There is no age limit to apply for NMAT by GMAC . The different institutes accepting NMAT by GMAC for their admission process may have some other eligibility requirements as well.

MAH CET MBA: A student aspiring to appear for MAH CET MBA must either have completed his/ her UG degree or be appearing in the final year of the course. The bachelor's degree should be obtained from a recognized university or college with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks (45 percent for reserved candidates).

One of the major differences between the NMAT by GMAC and MAH CET MBA is the exam pattern and type of questions asked.

NMAT by GMAC: One of the unique features of NMAT by GMAC is that it is a computer adaptive exam. This means that the candidate gets a randomly generated test from a pool of questions that are delivered one at a time on the computer screen. The number of questions and time limit for each section and the difficulty level of each section are pre-determined and it is independent of the test location and time.

MAH CET MBA: The exam pattern of MAH CET MBA is quite similar to other MBA entrance exams like CAT , SNAP , etc. It is an online exam held in a computer-based mode and candidates have to go to their respective test centres to take the exam. The questions of MAH CET MBA are set way before the exam and unlike NMAT by GMAC, all candidates taking the test are asked the same questions.
