GATE GG Exam Date

GATE Geology & Geophysics - GATE Geology & Geophysics exam date is February 4 . GATE Geology & Geophysics (GG) Syllabus includes 70% of the questions from academic themes, 15% from the general aptitude portion, and 15% from Engineering Mathematics. If applicants take Geology and Geophysics as their first paper, they can only pick Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Physics as their second paper. Through the GATE exam , the candidates will be selected for admission to M.Tech courses in various GATE-participating institutes. The aspirants must have already started extensive preparation for their GATE Geology & Geophysics exam. However, it is advisable to have complete information on important exam aspects to crack the test.

GATE GG Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

The GATE exam pattern is an important part of the entrance test which will help the students get familiar with the types of questions asked in the exam. The GATE GG exam has been conducted in online mode for a total of 3 hours duration. The paper will consist of a total of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. There will be 2 sections in the paper: General Aptitude (15% weightage), and Geology & Geophysics subject (85% weightage). The paper will be conducted in the English language. The paper will consist of NAT and MCQ-type questions.

Dear Student,

It is not mandatory to pay the tuition fee for the college allotted in Phase 1 to be eligible for Phase 2 of TS PGECET 2025 counselling. If you wish to upgrade your seat you can participate in Phase 2 web options even if you do not pay the fees or report to the college allotted in the first phase. However, if you have already paid the fee for the Phase 1 college and then get a new seat in the second phase of counselling, the fees paid earlier be transferred to the new college. If fee reimbursement is an important criterion for admission, then participating in TS PGECET Phase-II counselling based on your rank of 19 is a feasible and appropriate course of action. To participate in the second phase of TS PGECET 2025 counselling, please ensure you have all your original certificates and documents ready for verification. You must complete the registration and fee payment within the stipulated period to be eligible for seat allotment.
