IIT Mandi M Tech Selection Criteria 2024

IIT Mandi grants admission to candidates into the M Tech courses offered at the institute based on their GATE 2024 scores. IIT Mandi provides a list of specialization and category-wise selected candidates for admission to COAP. Candidates can accept/reject or choose other options from the list provided to them at the COAP portal within the specified deadline. IIT Mandi publishes the list of candidates across rounds via COAP until all the seats at the institute are occupied. In case of requirement, the Admissions Committee can call a limited number of candidates for written test or counselling based on performance in GATE 2024 exam.

In order to be eligible for M Tech admission at IIT Mandi, candidates are required to fulfill the following conditions.

• Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech or Master’s Degree in appropriate disciplines with a valid GATE score

•  B.Tech/BE degree from CFTIs with a minimum CGPA of 7.5. GATE Qualification NOT REQUIRED

Candidates are required to register themselves at COAP before filling the IIT Mandi M Tech application form 2024. The steps to fill up the IIT Mandi M Tech Application form 2024 have been mentioned below

Step 1: Registration

Commence the registration process by providing your basic information. An User ID and password will be generated upon successful registration.

Step 2: Filling of Application Form

Login to the IIT Mandi admission portal 2024 using your User Id and password and fill all the required personal, communication and academic details. Mention your COAP ID, GATE score and preferred specialization while filling the application form. Upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature as per the size and format specified by the institute.

Step 3 - Payment of Application Fees 

After providing the required information with the supporting documents, you are required to pay the IIT Mandi M Tech application fee 2024 via credit/ debit card or Net Banking.

Step 4 - Submission of Application Form
