MBA Colleges for Low Percentile/ Score in CMAT 2023: The CMAT exam is taken by thousands of students every year who wish to seek admission to some of the best MBA colleges in India. Due to the boom in the number of MBA/PGDM aspirants in recent years, the number of people appearing for the CMAT exam has also increased. However, it is quite tough to achieve a high percentile score in CMAT and meet the cutoff requirements for top colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, Great Lakes, KJ Somaiya, and many others which set their final cutoffs above the 99 percentile.
A score ranging from 281 to 340 can be considered a good score in CMAT. As per the CMAT result 2023, which was announced on May 31, 2023, a low score in CMAT lies in the range of 116 to 140. That being said, aspirants can always seek admission with their existing scores/percentile at colleges that have a low cutoff requirement for MBA courses if they weren't able to meet the cutoff scores for Tier 1 colleges and do not wish to waste another year for CMAT.
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is one of the most well-known national-level management entrance exams conducted for admission to some of the top B-Schools in India and is a popular choice for management aspirants in India. With over 1,300 MBA colleges in India using CMAT scores for shortlisting students, the CMAT score is one of the most widely accepted exam scores for admission to the courses of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), and Postgraduate Programme in Management (PGPM). Given below is the list of MBA colleges for low scores in CMAT 2023.

CMAT 2023 Score Required for Top Colleges
While CMAT scores can be used for admission to some of the top B-Schools in India, the CMAT cutoff percentile for these schools is usually above the 95 percentile. Even if a candidate gets a 90+ or 80+ percentile in the CMAT exams, admission to the top management colleges cannot be guaranteed as intense competition for MBA seats in India increases the actual CMAT score required for admission to over 99 percentile in many cases. Many students also switch to Executive MBA in such cases.
Candidates interested in getting into these colleges must have a clear idea of the MBA admission process and selection criteria followed by these colleges to ensure that they can take proper leverage of their overall profile.
Low CMAT 2023 Score
Not every person taking the CMAT exam can land in the top percentile. The good news for these aspirants is that there are many MBA colleges in India where aspirants can expect to get admission even if they get a low score on the CMAT exam. The CMAT cutoff for these colleges is also quite low, ranging from 40 - 60 percentile and some colleges accept even lower scores for admission to their MBA course.
