Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch Admissions in Tamil Nadu 2021
The first step towards applying for admission in one of the B.Arch offering colleges in Tamil Nadu is to fulfil all the laid eligibility criteria provided below -
B.Arch Admissions Eligibility Criteria for Native Tamilians
Applicants should have studied from class VIIIth till XIIth in a Tamil Nadu school who also have to produce a Nativity Certificate
Applicants who have completed their VIIIth to XIIth studies from any state other than Tamil Nadu can also apply provided they produce their Nativity Certificate issued by the TN Govt at the time of verification of original documents
Wards of Central/State Government/public sector employees are also eligible to apply if their parent/s or guardian is serving in the state at the time of submission of application and must have had a prior service history of 5 years at least in the state
All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre officers’ wards can also apply provided they submit a self-declaration from their parents at the time of verification of original documents
Students who have completed their studies from class VIIIth to XIIth and are from other states are also eligible to apply without having to produce a “Nativity Certificate”

How to Apply for B.Arch Admissions in Tamil Nadu 2021

Register yourself for B.Arch admissions at Tamil Nadu by providing personal details like name, email address marks obtained in qualifying exams etc
After registering, a User ID and password will be generated which you have to use to fill the B.Arch admission application form
Choose your TFC centre for certificate verification
Check all the information furnished on the online application form and upon satisfaction click on the “Submit” button
Submit the Tamil Nadu B.Arch admissions application fee for 2021, i.e INR 500/- (INR 250/- for SC/ST/SCA and INR 100/- for special reserved category candidates)
After successfully applying for B.Arch admissions in Tamil Nadu, you will be provided with a PDF document which has to be carried (affix a passport-sized photograph) at the TFC during document verification process
Documents Required to be Carried for Verification at TFCs
The candidates have to carry the following documents at their respective TFCs for the purpose of verification of their documents -
Class Xth mark sheet
Class XIIth mark sheet
Admit Card/Hall Ticket of Class XIIth exam

Tamil Nadu B.Arch Admissions 2021 - Detailed Admission cum Counselling Process
The candidates are suggested to go through the details mentioned below for clarity regarding B.Arch admission cum counselling process in Tamil Nadu for the year 2021 -
Tamil Nadu B.Arch admissions for 2021 will be conducted according to the merit order, communal reservation and choice of college filled by the candidates
A Demand Draft (DD) bearing the amount INR 5000/- (INR 1000/- for reserved category candidates) should be drawn in favour of The Secretary, TNEA, Payable at Chennai – 600 025 and then have to produce all their relevant documents and certificates (original) during attending the counselling process
Candidates who are already admitted in some other institute will be offered provisional admission on producing the photocopies of their documents and certificates. Final admission, however, will only be granted after the submission of the original documents
Candidates who are eligible for the counselling process must be present during the counselling session at least two hours before it commences with all the original documents and certificates
Candidates unable to be present during the counselling process can send their parent/s on behalf of them and their decision will be considered final
In case of revaluation or re totalling of marks, the candidates have to appear in the counselling process conducted for his/her new rank or marks
After seat allotment, the amount paid during the initial stage of the counselling process (amount paid via DD) will be adjusted in the fee payable at confirmation of seat
Candidates seeking refund after being allocated seat/s will only be refunded 80% of the total amount paid by them during counselling
Seats of those candidates failing to join the allocated institutions within the deadline will be considered vacant
Forfeiture of admission is legal at any stage of admission when any detail/s furnished by the candidates are found to be fraudulent
