Overall: I completed MBA from Vidyasagar University in 2023 and I give 10 out of 10 score to this university for providing an amazing job opportunity for an average student like me. I received an offer letter with Rs 9 LPA. For MBA the course fee at this university is Rs 63,190 per year if I remember correctly.
Placement: In 2023 when I graduated, the highest package for two-year PG courses like MBA was Rs 11.40 LPA, and the median package was Rs 4.8 LPA. Thanks to the hard work of Vidyasagar University placement cell, our batch got such good placement. I participated in five interviews and got a package of Rs 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: Each department at Vidyasagar University has a department library. As an MBA student, I had access to our departmental library, a computer centre with 42 computers, and smart classrooms.
Faculty: The Department of Business Administration has four faculty members. One is HOD, two are permanent assistant professors and one is an assistant professor on contract. My favourite teacher was Dr Sudin Bag. Dr Tarak Nath Sahu was our HOD.
Hostel: Vidyasagar University hostel fees range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per year which is quite reasonable. The old boy's hostel's name is Kshudiram Chhatrabas, while the new boy's hostel's name is Sidhu Kano Birsa Chhatrabas. The old girl's hostel's name is Matangini Chhatriniwas, and the new girl's hostel name is Pritilata Chhatriniwas.
