CSI Polytechnic College Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

CSI Polytechnic College Salem admission process is done online. The admission is merit-based, i.e. the marks obtained in class 10 will be considered. For Lateral entry, the marks obtained in the 10+2 level are considered. 

CSI Polytechnic College Salem application forms are available on the college website. The college offers 10 diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics (Robotics), and Computer Engineering. The admission procedure and eligibility criteria of the courses are given below. 

CSI Polytechnic College's application process is described below.

• Candidates must fill-up the form from the official website and upload the required documents.
• Application fees for the general category are Rs. 200 and for SC/ST/SCC Rs. 100. It must be paid online.
• After the merit list will be published on the official website, the successful candidates must visit the college with the original documents for admission.
• The following documents are required to show:- 

• Conduct certificate and Transfer Certificate are in original from the Head of the Educational Institution in which the candidate had last studied
• SSLC book or equivalent record?
• SSLC mark sheet or mark sheet issued by the concerned educational authority for the qualifying examination
• Original community certificate for ST?/ SC / SC(A) / MBC & DNC / BC (Others)?/ BC (Muslims) from prescribed authority.

• The following documents are required to show for lateral entry:- 

• Conduct Certificate & Transfer Certificate in original obtained from the Head of the Educational Institution in which the candidate has last studied
• SSLC Mark Sheet or equivalent
• HSC mark sheet or mark sheet issued by the concerned educational authority for the qualifying examination
• Original Community Certificate along with a Xerox of a Community Certificate duly attested.

CSI Polytechnic College Salem Diploma eligibility criteria are:-

• Candidates must pass class 10 from a recognized university with at least 35% marks. 
• For lateral entry, candidates must have completed HSC / (Academic) or (Vocational) courses mentioned in the Annexure – 2 offered in the Higher Secondary Schools in Tamil Nadu affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board with eligibility for University Courses of Study or 10th Std. and 2 years I.T.I. or equivalent Examination from a recognized board.

Candidates are selected based on their performance in class 10, and class 12 for the lateral entry.
