IIM Sambalpur Campus & Infrastructure

The scope of the Infrastructure and Mess Committee (IMC) is to oversee the smooth functioning of the hostels, mess, cafeteria and stores.

The objective of IMC is to act as a communication channel between the students and the Institute authorities to resolve any issues related to infrastructure and mess. The Committee strives to provide nutritious, good quality and hygienic food available to students, faculty and staff members apart from making their stay pleasant on campus.

The IMC decides the menu for all the different meals of the day (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) in consultation with the residents.This ensures that the menu offers a variety of food to satisfy people coming from diverse cultural backgrounds and to make them feel at home.

The Committee monitors the cleanliness and maintenance of various facilities across the hostels and is responsible for other infrastructure related concerns.

The IMC holds periodic meetings to assess the Infrastructure and Mess related issues and coordinates with the administration to resolve the same.

The Committee tries to incorporate any feedback/suggestions from the residents for the general good.
