A number of institutions affiliated to Madras University concentrate on research activities offeringe Ph. D. Programmes in their respective field of specialisation.

Hostel: No aware much but The hostel rooms are very spacious two students stay in one room. Two fans and two beds are provided for each room. It's very clean and 20 bathrooms and restrooms are given per floor. The hostel seats are few and preference will be given to those who are far away from Chennai.
