The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at IMS Institute of Management Study in India require candidates to have a Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their postgraduate studies. However, there is a relaxation of 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled categories. Furthermore, candidates need to qualify in the entrance examination conducted by the institute, followed by an interview process. Those with a valid score in national-level tests such as UGC NET/JRF, CSIR NET/JRF, GATE, or SLET are exempted from the entrance examination.
