JNU PhD Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at Jawaharlal Nehru University in India are as follows: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum required percentage as specified by the university. Additionally, candidates must have qualified in the national-level entrance examination conducted by the university or any other recognized examination such as UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test) or CSIR-NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Eligibility Test). Furthermore, candidates with a valid fellowship from recognized funding agencies are also eligible to apply. The university may also consider candidates with exceptional academic achievements or industry experience on a case-by-case basis.
