Overall: One of the largest technical universities in India, AKTU is the best option you will get if securing placements at the end of your education is your major goal. The B.Tech course offered here has 41 specialisations and is the flagship programme. It is conducted in regular mode, full time and is four years long divided into eight semesters. The AKTU BTech fee structure is Rs 55,000 per year. Admission to this will require valid JEE Main scores, followed by UPTAC counselling. You must at least have 50% in their 10+2 with PCM to be eligible for application. A relaxation of 5% on the qualifying marks is also given to SC and ST category candidates. The course curriculum is curated, keeping in mind the industry’s constantly changing trends. Both theoretical and practical-based learning is provided as well.

Placement: The placements at AKTU Lucknow are the best. After completion of your B.Tech degree, you will get the chance to work in both government and private sectors. The B.Tech placements are top-notch, as a fresher from the campus placements you will be able to secure placement packages ranging from Rs 3.5 to Rs 5 LPA. Some reputed companies like Amazon, HCL, Infosys, etc. often offer a median package of Rs 8 LPA. If your overall academic performance is consistently good, you will secure a great placement offer. Companies like TCS, ICICI Bank, Wipro, etc. visit the campus frequently for both placements and internships. To prepare you for the campus placements, pre-placement activities are conducted as well like industry visits, seminars, guest lectures and mock interview sessions.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. The campus has all the facilities required for proper academic development. The surroundings are pleasant and appropriate for an educational establishment. The library is huge and has books and reading materials for various subjects, including exam preparations. The books can be read free of cost. The laboratories are updated with modern technology and software, they are fully air-conditioned and have cutting-edge desktops. Each lab also is equipped with a smart screen.

Faculty: The AKTU faculty members are efficient and highly qualified in their respective fields of study. Most of them either have PhD degrees or are pursuing PhDs. Some of the members even have 11 to 12 years of educational experience. The teachers are both articulate and well-mannered. The lecturer provides instructions to gain a good understanding of various topics.

Hostel: The hostels at AKTU are comfortable and safe. The hostel rooms have two beds, a desk, a chair and an almirah. The rooms are spacious. The meals provided are healthy and nutritious and lunch box facilities are also offered. The meals are provided four times a day. Other facilities include a canteen, gymnasium, laundry services, etc. To avail the hostel facility 50% of the fees for the hostel are to be paid at the time of admission. The AKTU hostel fees range from Rs 60,000 to Rs 1 lakh per year. You can also opt for PGs nearby as well.

Overall: Campus Life It has the most exciting campus life, filled with cultural activities and competitions. We are encouraged to take part in these to showcase our strengths in various things like dance, singing, recitation, quiz, etc. Infrastructure It has a huge campus located in beautiful and scenic Himachal Pradesh. The Shoolini campus has all the facilities like wifi, laboratories, classrooms, auditoriums, etc. with a beautiful view of the hilly region. Academics Various programmes are offered here in fields like arts, commerce, science, management, etc. You can choose to pursue any of them if you meet the eligibility criteria. Fees The Shoolini University course fees are affordable and are around Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000. Even scholarships are available for those who require them. Placement The Shoolini University placement record is 100%. Companies offer job roles in various sectors like IT, banking, marketing, healthcare, etc. Rs 8 LPA is the average package offered. Faculty The Shoolini faculty is the best. They will help you throughout the year and even help you prepare for the placements.

Overall: The college is very reputed for having excellent placements especially for the BTech batch. Even for core streams such as ME, the placements are almost 100% every year. Not everybody gets in top companies but decent placements are provided by the college. In our batch, some students claimed package of around 6 and 9 lakhs but average salary package was lower. The college also helped us in getting internships in many good companies. Faculty for ME batch is quite good with knowledge and experience. The classrooms have projectors and good books are available in the library. The campus buildings are beautiful and the hilly region means pure atmosphere with scenic locations nearby to enjoy with friends. At the end of the course, nobody wanted to leave the place. Sports facilities are available for cricket, basketball and even for badminton and an indoor gym is available. Hostels are good and mess and canteen food is OK as expected from engineering canteen. So, it is best place to do your BTech with qualified faculty members who are all very supportive and with positive attitude.

Overall: Shoolini is one of the best universities in North India and Himachal Pradesh. It was my first choice for pursuing BTech as I was very impressed with the overall infrastructure and placements of the university. First off, you just can't beat the location of our college. It is surrounded by hills and has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere in the campus as well as the city. Lots of places are nearby for bike rides or trekking. The college also has support for some outdoor games but indoor game facilities are better. There is an indoor sports complex which has table tennis, badminton and even snooker. The gym also has good equipment. The university also has good overall architecture with fast internet and a superb library. Placements at the campus are great but, as you know, core mechanical placements are few but still better than other colleges. The university also helped to find us internships for practical experience. The faculty for this course is great and very helpful. What's the best part is that they have practical experience so they easily help even the tricky concepts.

Overall: Shoolini University is located in the heart of Himachal Pradesh and is surely one of the most beautiful and serene campuses in India. The campus itself is very beautifully built with good quality infrastructure, WiFi availability and plenty of activities for learning and staying healthy. The library building is just phenomenal and it doesn't really feel like you are in any college campus in India. Shoolini University has been ranked as one of the top universities in India and a large portion of the credit goes to the awesome faculty members. The faculty members are very knowledgeable and very cool with the students. They always keep boosting us to do better and provide practical examples to make learning more interesting. The placements are also good and most of the students get placed but the salary packages can be better. Companies visiting the campus include Yes Bank, Flipkart, Godrej, Tata, Airtel etc.
