Noida Campus of IIM-Lucknow Reports 100% Placement of PGPSM Batch
Summer placements for the second batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGPSM) at the Noida Campus of IIM Lucknow was concluded last week. 100% placements have been recorded for the batch of 19 students.
13 prominent firms participated in the summer placement of IIM Lucknow Noida Campus. A total of 23 offers were made to the batch.
A diverse group of firms had participated in the summer placements. Among these were popular names such as Mahindra, UPL, PwC, Tata Sustainability Group, Biocon, KPMG, Wipro Earthian, etc., who have set various standards in the domains of sustainability.
Following the summer placement, IIM Lucknow has been labeled as the preferred recruitment destination in the field of sustainability management and related roles in various organizations, stated an official statement issued by IIM Lucknow.
According to the summer placement report, 26% of the total job offers were made from the consulting domain whereas another 26% of the offers came from corporate sustainability. Other offers were made from finance, strategy, marketing and operations.
These profiles were offered to the students across sectors such as smart city consulting, rural development, sustainability reporting, renewable energy solutions, social and community inclusion, carbon neutrality and pricing.
Prof. Sourindra Bhattacharjee, Chairperson of PGPSM Placements, said that with the increasing complexity of business environment there is a demand for qualified individuals who are well-versed with the importance of investment in long-term strategy geared towards resource optimization, greater community inclusion and favorable environmental impact. The response from the corporate world has been great, he added.
