IIT JAM courses list 2024: IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test) is an all-India level online entrance exam for the master's degree program in the IIT institutions in India. The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) every year. This year IIT Madras is the conducting body of IIT JAM 2024. The exam allows admission to candidates in MSc, PhD, and other master programs in IITs. The IIT JAM exam is being taken by 36 IITs, NITs, and IISc Bangalore students. Participants must pass the entrance exam to gain admission to these colleges.

A 5 years dual degree program for students who want to pursue a master's degree along with Ph.D. courses such as MSc or M.Tech for the first two years and Ph.D. courses after 2 years. During the Integrated PhD degree, students learn and study Science, Engineering, and Technology.
Joint MSc - PhD
Joint MSc-Ph.D is a 2 years degree program for students offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Students can pursue PhD once their MSc is complete.
MSc - PhD Dual Degree
MSc - PhD Dual Degree sounds similar to the Joint MSc-PhD degree, however, there is some basic difference in the course. Students can pursue MSc and Ph.D. from the same college or institute with MSc - PhD Dual Degree. Students must complete both degrees otherwise they will be not granted any degree. Students can pursue this degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur after clearing the IIT JAM exam.
