GUJCET Low Rank Colleges

List of BTech Colleges for Low Rank in GUJCET 2023 - Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) released the GUJCET result 2023 on May 2, 2023. Candidates are able to check the results at gujcet.gseb.org 2023. Every year, lakhs of candidates appear for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET), and those who qualify for the exam are eligible to take admission into the Bachelor’s program in various colleges in Gujarat. Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the GUJCET 2023 exam are converted into the rank of the student. GUJCET seat allotment result for round 2 will be released on August 2 and round 1 was released earlier on July 6, 2023 in the online mode. 

GSEB releases a rank list for the students based on which, admission is done. However, you shouldn't be discouraged if you scored low on the GUJCET exam because there are still many options available to you, those colleges which accept candidates that scored less in the exam. However, due to huge competition, some students don’t get the rank as expected even after good preparation.

Steps to Get Admission Without GUJCET

There are many alternate college options for students who cannot get a good rank in the GUJCET exam. Although some of the best colleges accept admission into engineering through the GUJCET rank card, there are many good engineering colleges where students can even get admission without a GUJCET rank. However, it is advisable for the students who have a low rank in GUJCET to go for admission through the management quota. The low-score holder students can get admission into better engineering colleges in Gujarat as compared to low-rank colleges in GUJCET.

Following are the steps to get admission without GUJCET 2023:

  • Step 1- Candidates need to search for the colleges and universities where they wish to take admission without GUJCET 2023
  • Step 2- After the colleges are chosen, they need to contact an academic counselor who will provide a better guide to the candidates regarding management quota admissions
  • Step 3- Apply to counselling for admission
  • Step 4- After counselling, choose the colleges that are better for you. Contact the colleges for admissions through the management quota
  • Step 5- Candidates need to pay a sum of money for booking their seats in that particular college or institute

GUJCET 2023 Marks vs Rank

An analysis of GUJCET 2023 marks vs rank is a study of the ranks provided to the students on the basis of the score secured by them. It can be drawn from the exam pattern of GUJCET 2023, that 40% of the weightage is given to the candidates on the basis of the GUJCET entrance exam whereas 60% of the weightage is given on the basis of the marks scored in class 12. For example, a candidate scoring 80-90, will be given a percentile of 65 to 76, and scoring 91 to 1000 will be given a percentile of 75 to 87.

Thanks for contacting Collegedkeho Q & A portal. I want to inform you that  Sharda University does not offer any Diploma course for mechanical engineering. It only offers two Diploma courses: Diploma in Clinical Medical Practises from Allied Health Science and Pharmacy and a Diploma in Pharmacy from the Pharmacy sector. 

Though University also offers below mentioned courses in the Mechanical Engineering branch. Students who will enrol for the B.Tech course need to pay around 1.9 L per annum.
