GD Goenka University Admission Process 

The GDGU admission process is simple and straightforward. The institute offers admission into different courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. To get admission in the desired course candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria. GD Goenka University accepts admission applications either online or offline. 

GD Goenka University Eligibility Criteria

As mentioned earlier, the GDGU offers various UG and  PG courses in. The details of the eligibility criteria to take admission in each course as well as the GD Goenka University selection process are stated below. 

The selection process at GD Goenka University is merit based for most of the courses while others will require a valid score in certain entrance examinations.

To secure admission to GDGU in 2023, the students must first follow the procedure detailed on the website above and check if they appropriately match the eligibility criteria for the course they have opted for. 

The applicants must be alert for the dates of the examination and register within time, as well as be on the lookout and book their exam slots at the soonest, so they are as per their convenience.

The GDGU Aspire, or GATA 2023, is a completely online proctored examination, with a 3-hour exam for PCM and a 1-hour exam for Non-PCM candidates.

The exam is an objective type exam with multiple-choice questions. There are 75 questions for PCM and 65 questions for Non-PCM students. The subjects for PCM students are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, while for Non-PCM students, they are English, Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, etc. 

• The students should refer to the detailed exam pattern provided for both types of exams on the website's entrance exam.
• The exams are held completely via the online mode, so the students must exercise the utmost care and give the exam very fairly and precisely.
• A personal interview will follow the entrance exam. This will also be held online to assess the capability and capacity of an individual. The applicants must come prepared and be honest and diligent with their answers. 
• They must appear for both the exam and the interview on time. They should be cleanly dressed for the interview and speak most politely while answering all the interviewer's questions.

The GDGU application process is made easier for the students by offering the online method. Most of the students prefer to fill out the application online due to the easy to use interface offered by the University.

How to apply for different courses at GD Goenka University?

To apply for any course: 

• Students need to visit the college's official website 
• Then navigate to the GDGU admission option
• From the dropdown, menu select the desired course
• In the top right course click on the application form tab 
• It will take you to the application portal of the college
• Create a new account by clicking on the “New application” 
• Upon that fill the required information in the application along with course
• Check all the details in the application form before submitting
• Once the application is submitted then the candidate will receive further mail about the eligibility criteria along with the documents candidate need to offer

Faculty of Management

• For studying BBA candidates need to have 10+2 from any recognized school
• For studying MBA candidates need to be bachelors from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Faculty of Science

• For studying BCA candidates should pass 10+2 from any recognized school.
• For studying B.Sc candidates should pass 10+2 from any recognized school.
• For studying MCA candidates need to be bachelors from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
• For studying M.Sc candidates need to be B.Sc bachelors from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
• For studying B.Tech candidates should pass 10+2 from any recognized school.
• For studying M.Tech candidates should pass B.Tech from any recognized school.

Faculty of Commerce

• For studying B.Com candidates should pass 10+2 from any recognized school.
• For studying M,Com candidates need to be bachelors from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Faculty of Arts

• For studying B.A candidates should pass 10+2 from any recognized school.
• For studying B.A-B.Ed candidates should pass 10+2 from any recognized school.
• For studying M.A candidates need to be bachelors from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
•  For studying MA in Defense and strategic studies candidates need to be bachelors from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Directorate of Research

• GDGU offers doctoral programs to the students, inviting applications from the month of April every year.
• The students are admitted to these programs on the basis of merit.
• The GDGU Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 55% aggregate in post graduation(Students under the reserved category are exempted by 5%).

Undergraduate Programs

• Visit the official website of GDGU 
• Register by entering your basic details  - A pop-up on the page will let you register your basic details. These include the name of the applicant, city and state of residence, email ID, mobile number and course, program, and a batch of choice. You can also do the same by clicking on the option on the bottom right corner of the page in case no pop-up shows. The last date for online registration is 25th May 2023.
• You will receive an email. - Once you have filled out your details, an email will be sent by the university on the mail ID you have provided them. Click on the link provided in the email to verify your account.
• Fill out the GDGU Aspire 2023 Application Form 

Once you have made your account, apply for your desired undergraduate program by filling out the GDGU Aspire 2023 Application Form. You will need to specify the course of your choice, among other details, and fill out the eligibility criteria to be considered for selection. 

The last date to fill out the GD Goenka University application form is by 30th July 2023.

• Pay the Application Fees - You will have to pay the application fees of 1000 INR once you have filled out the application form to confirm your attempt at the GDGU Aspire 2023 Admission Test.
• Check your Scholarship Criteria basis your 12th /Aspire Result - Once you have filled out the application form and paid the application fees, you can check your eligibility for the Scholarships extended by GD Goenka University. Up to 100% scholarship is provided on a merit-cum-need basis to the students who apply and qualify for them.
• Upload the required documents - Once you have done the above steps, you must upload the required documents to the website, like your Aadhar Card, 12th pass certificate, and PAN card. The documents must be scanned and submitted in the format specified on the website, whether pdf or jpg/jpeg.
• Complete and submit your form - Once you have filled out all the necessary details, paid the fees, and completed all requisite formalities, you must submit your form to confirm your application to your desired undergraduate program.

Post-graduate Programs

• Visit the official website 
• Register by entering your basic details - A pop-up on the page will let you register your basic details. These include the name of the applicant, city and state of residence, email ID, mobile number and course, program, and a batch of choice. You can also do the same by clicking on the option on the bottom right corner of the page in case no pop-up shows. The last date for online registration is 25th May 2023.
• Verify your account via the link given in the email - Once you have filled out your details, an email will be sent by the university on the mail ID you have provided them. Click on the link provided in the email to verify your account.
• Fill out the Application Form - Once you have made your account, apply for your desired post-graduate program by filling out the Goenka Aptitude Test for Admission (GATA) application form. You will need to specify the course of your choice, among other details, and fill out the eligibility criteria to be considered for selection. 
• Pay the GD Goenka University Application Fees - You will have to pay the application fees of 1000 INR once you have filled out the application form.
• Check your Scholarship Criteria basis your competitive exam result/undergraduate scores/GATA scores - Once you have filled out the application form and paid the application fees, you can check your eligibility for the Scholarships extended by GD Goenka University. Up to 100% scholarship is provided on a merit-cum-need basis to the students who apply and qualify for them.
• Upload the required documents  - Once you have done the above steps, you must upload the required documents to the website, like your Aadhar Card, Undergraduate degree certificate (from any UGC-approved university), and PAN card. The documents must be scanned and submitted in the format specified on the website, whether pdf or jpg/jpeg.
• Complete and Submit your Form. - Once you have filled out all the necessary details, paid the fees, and completed all requisite formalities, you must submit your form to confirm your application to your desired post-graduate program—degree or diploma.
