The integrated development work in rural area has been organizing by the NSS Unit - I & Unit - II. 200 volunteers have been working in rural areas. D. Pulak Kumar Kundu and D. Kshitish Chandra Mahata are the Programme Officers of N.S.S. Unit 1 and 2 respectively. Two NSS Units are working in close collaboration with NGOs. NSS Units conduct two types of activities-Regular activities and Special camp. Two units conduct programmes on World Health Day. Some activities of these Units are:

• Celebrating Anti-Drug Day
• Sadbhabana Diwas Saplings plantation during Aranya Saptaha
• Medical awareness programme, > Celebrating Swaccha Bharat Abhijan
• Organise Blood donation camps
• Tree Plantation These units are working regularly at Gour Mahavidyalaya as well as village level. Our N.S.S it was awarded as a best blood donar motivator unit.
