Dear student, the Government Degree College Jammu does not offer the 3-year BA in Education programme but Education as a subject is offered in combination with other subjects at the institution. An example of the Education subject which one can opt for at the UG level at Government Degree College Jammu has been provided below - 

• Hindi/Dogri/Urdu/English+History+Education+Communication Hindi/Dogri/Urdu/English+EVS

There is a total of 60 seats available at the institute for students who opt for the subject combination given above. The admissions form for the academic year 2021-22 is not yet available on the official website of the institution. 

Admission into the BA degree programme offered at Government Degree College Jammu is offered based on the merit of the applicants. However, applicants from the following category only can apply for admission at Government Degree College Jammu - 

• Applicants must be permanent residents of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir (to be given preference and Non-J&K residents can also apply) OR

• Applicants must be wards of Central Government Employees/Army Personnel OR

• Applicants who are non-permanent residents living in J&K for commercial purposes may be admitted if they have completed their higher secondary education from one of the schools in the UT

• INR 9977 (Arts with Computer Applications combination)
