SKIT is one of the premier institutes for technology and management students in the country. The institute offers its students with all the modern facilities for their holistic development. The entire SKIT campus is well planned with various blocks and multi-storied buildings.
Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management & Gramothan has well ventilated and spacious classrooms. The classrooms at SKIT are equipped with smart classroom applications and audio-visual aids that impart quality training to its students. Apart from this the institute also has laboratories, tutorial rooms, seminar halls and auditoriums.

Library
the central library of SKIT is known as Gyandan Resource Centre. It has all modern facilities established in a sprawling 975 square meter area. It consists of more than 43563 volumes with 13204 national and international titles, 13301 e-books and more than 18000 video lectures. At present, the library subscribes to more than 706 reputed national and international journals. The library operations are fully automated by using LIBSYS software. The library hosts an array of volumes of CD-ROM database, audio-visual material, online video lectures and tutorials and e-journals.
The library offers inter-library loan service to its users for books and periodicals and other reading materials that are currently not available in the library. The SKIT library helps students by procuring them from other libraries through DELNET (Developing Library Network).
The following services are available for students.
Hostel
There are two hostels in SKIT, namely- Nirwana men’s hostel and Noran women’s hostel. Nirwana men’s hostel can accommodate 460 students whereas Noran women’s hostel can accommodate 265 students. The rooms are available on a single/double and triple occupancy basis. The SKIT hostel fee is affordable and the hostel fee includes meals. Students can avail the hostels on a first come first serve basis. The hostels have the following facilities-
SKlT Entrepreneurship club TOPAZ' was launched with an aim of fostering the entrepreneurial behavior among the students so that
they can be rob creators instead of being jOb seekers. SKlT entrepreneurship cell TOPAZ in assocratron wrth National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) organizes a number of workshops. entrepreneur’s talk, Video lecture series. industrial survey startup internship events and idea generation activities.
SKlT entrepreneurship cell TOPAZ lS connected with the E cell of more than 600 colleges all across India TOPAZ won the National Champions Trophy in 2014 ,2015 & 2016 by standing first in the entire north region.

At SKIT, we know our responsibilities. In order to instill awareness about environment among students Eco-Friends Club has been set up. The members of the Club, known as ‘Eco-friends’ strive to promote eco friendly habits not only on the institute premises but also among the masses, in the whole of Jaipur. There have been supporters like the great environmentalist, social reformer and the founder of ‘Chipko movement’, Padam Bhushan Sunder Lal Bahugana , who has elevated the spirits of the students with his words of appreciation for the initiatives by SKIT ECO-FRIENDS CLUB.
Eco-friendly literally means earth-friendly or not harmful to the environment. This term most commonly refers to products that contribute to green living or practices that help conserve resources like water and energy. EFC club mainly engage club members in eco-friendly habits or practices by being more conscious of how we use resources.
SKIT believes in the development of the students as a whole, and strives to provide a climate that nurtures the holistic development of our students, an environment that is trusting and spontaneous; and encourages flexibility, celebration and recognition. This is achieved through cultural clubs like Music Club which covers a wide range of instruments along with the various forms of classical and non-classical music. Through a number of spontaneous activities and contests the MUSIC CLUB has been able to maintain high levels of enthusiasm and team integration among the students.
National Service Scheme club was established at SKIT in the year 2009. The club strives to bring improvements in the field of social welfare. This club mainly serves the villages. The club organizes various activities for the poor uneducated people. It is all because of the students of the club that the goals and objectives of the club are met.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year, 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community linkage. The cardinal principle of the NSS programme is that it is organised by the students themselves, and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building.
Students take keen interest in serving those who lack the daily need facilities, by all that they can do.
PRAVAH , the annual inter-collegiate, technocultural & sports fest signifies the rich tradition of our institute in promoting and fostering innovative and creative sparks that the SKIT family has nurtured for over a decade.
The creative spark in the young minds find a befitting expression in the form of words through the SKIT TIMES. This magazine is published thrice in a year-spring issue, autumn issue and annual issue. It covers wide variety of topics from technical, non technical to Hindi kavya rachna (poems).This magazine is a collaborative effort of students and faculty members. The magazine is mailed to 500 corporate bodies spread over the country, which makes the effort of our students more visible in the corporate world. The publisher of SKIT TIMES is prof.Dr.S.L.Surana and the hard working editorial board is headed by Dr. Neha Purohit, reader, English department.
SKIT understand the importance of sports in developing traits like confidence, leadership and team spirit among the students. The Sports Club at SKIT offers Basketball,Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis etc.
Sports Club at SKIT organises several Inter and Intra College Competition regularly.
The SKIT Robotics Club is an undergraduate organization that creates, innovate and provide practical knowledge to the students about robots. The Club offers indispensible guidance, workshops and tutorials along with tools, equipments, components to enhance practical knowledge in students. This year the club activities were started on 13th August, 2015 and continuing with strength of 40 students. Basic electronics, sensors and actuators were introduced in the first session of the club activity and thereafter hands-on sessions were organized. During the year the cub members worked on an advanced platform (AVR micro-controller) and developed 14 robots and projects. The list of projects and robots is as follows.
Docu.Drama is a combination of presenting dramatic performances as well as documentary movie making. Drama for ages has been a quintessential expression of real life experiences. The club aspires to hone this expression through well rehearsed performances of the classic and contemporary plays. The club also organizes training sessions and competitions in the field of documentary movie making so that the participants develop skills for researching, analyzing and representing an idea from different perspectives. Both, the theatre performances and documentary films entail the tenets of narration and voice over, digital audio and visual mixing, photography and video shooting. The club staged Shakespearean masterpiece The Merchant of Venice during the session 2014-15
Dance and Music are the most joyous embellishments of a creative soul. Dancing to the enchanting spell of music unleashes a perfect union of expression & joy. SKIT’s Kalanidhi Club provides a platform to this expression where students are trained in instrumental and vocal music, as well as tap their feet to the tunes of various styles of dancing. The club organizes various training session round the year under the able guidance of experienced music and dance trainers. The club also organizes a host of intra & inter collegiate competitions.
