IIM Kozhikode Selection Criteria and Weightage of CAT Score
  • IIM Kozhikode follows a two-stage selection process after the announcement of CAT result to shortlist candidates for its PGP course.
  • The institute considers academic performance, diversity, as well as, CAT score into account while evaluating the performance of students.

IIM Kozhikode was the fifth IIM and was established in 1996 and is one of the top MBA colleges in India. Ever since its establishment, the institute has endeavoured to provide quality business education to its students and promoted research in the field of master of business administration. Being one of the top B-Schools in India, IIM Kozhikode follows rigorous selection criteria after the evaluation of CAT scores:

IIM Kozhikode Selection Process:

IIM Kozhikode follows a two-stage selection process for admission in the PGP course that is equivalent to master of business administration. The institute does not accept any other MBA entrance exam other than CAT. Shortlisted candidates are then called for Personal Interview (PI) rounds on the basis of CAT scores. Clearing the MBA entrance exams is not enough, overall performance in academics and CAT are considered for admission.
