Rajasthan B.Arch Merit List 2023

While preparing the merit list for B.Arch admission in Rajasthan, the Centre for Electronic Governance, Jhalana Doongari, Jaipur considers the marks obtained by the candidates in both their previous qualifying examination and entrance exam. To put it in simple words, 50% weightage to both the qualifying exam performance and entrance exam performance is given. The Rajasthan B.Arch admission merit list is made available for the candidates on the official website of REAP and the candidates can view the same by logging into the REAP website by using their credentials. The candidates must be aware of the fact that those who apply on the basis of their Class XIIth score are given the top ranks in the merit list followed by the 10+3 diploma holders.

Rajasthan B.Arch Seat Allotment Process 2023

Allotment of seats in the Rajasthan B.Arch colleges taking part in the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) is done on the basis of the choice filled by the candidates during the application process and their rank in the merit list. Allocation of seats in the 5-year undergraduate architecture programme in various government and private architecture colleges in Rajasthan also depends on the availability of seats in these institutions.

The category of the candidates also plays a very important role during the seat allocation process in these Rajasthan B.Arch colleges. Seats allocated to those candidates are confiscated who fail to establish any contact with the admission officials of REAP or the institute after being allocated seats. Candidates are also given the option of “Upward Movement” and those who are not satisfied with the allocated seats can apply for this procedure for another shot at securing a seat at a better institution. The seat allotment letter issued against the name of the candidates in this stage is provisional in nature.

Rajasthan B.Arch Admission 2023 - Submission of Original Documents and Admission Fee

After the candidates are allocated seats, they are supposed to visit the particular institutions for confirmation of admission. The candidates are required to carry all their important documents along with self-attested copies of the documents to the institutes allocated to them. The self-attested document copies are submitted at the institution. After getting their documents verified by the institute officials, the candidates have to submit the Rajasthan B.Arch admission fee to confirm their seats.

The candidates must only submit their original documents when they are self-assured that they are not going to opt for the “Upward Movement” process. The candidates must be in possession of the following documents while reporting at the allocated institute -

  • Copy of the provisional seat allotment letter from the REAP website

  • Aadhar card

  • SSC mark sheet

  • HSC mark sheet

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Other additional certificates like PwD, Ex-Servicemen etc (if applicable)

  • A certificate stating the medical fitness of the candidate

  • Certificate of income

  • Domicile certificate

  • Admission fee

Withdrawal of Admission

Candidates can apply for withdrawal of admission for which they have to contact the institute officials in person. In order to apply for withdrawal of admission, the candidates have to submit an application seeking cancellation of admission and must surrender their provisional seat allotment letter.

The institutes, after receiving the admission withdrawal request have to update the same on the REAP web portal before the last date. In such a scenario, the admission fee deposited by the candidates will be refunded back by the institute after deducting a processing fee amount of INR 1000/-.

Yes, you can change your course at LPU after admission. Students have approximately a month to make this change after admission, or they can opt to do so after a semester. However, changing your course after the first year is not advisable as it could result in a wasted year. The new course must meet the student's eligibility requirements. To request a course change, students must fill out a specific form and pay the required fee within the university's set schedule. LPU reserves the right to approve or deny the course change. If approved, the student must pay the new …
