List of Alternative Options for M.Tech Admission: Around 8 to 10 lakh students appear for one of the biggest postgraduate engineering exams in India - GATE every year and it is a no-brainer that not all of them are going to secure a seat in their desired colleges. The reason? Well, first of all, there are a limited number of seats available in the GATE 2024 participating colleges . Second, the competition in the GATE 2025 exam is pretty stiff. Even though some GATE rank holders are picked up by various PSUs, the seat-to-student ratio of the participating colleges is pretty low.

So what happens to those students who are unable to clear GATE 2025? Does their road end here? If you mistakenly uploaded a wrong document (like a voter ID with the incorrect birth date) during the JEE Main application correction window and now need to upload the correct document showing your accurate date of birth, you should immediately log in to your JEE Main candidate portal using your application number and password during the open correction period.
