IIIT Sri City Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

IIIT Sri City BTech admissions for the academic year 2024 will start with JoSAA registration from June 10, 2024. JEE Main session 2 result 2024 has been released on April 24, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their scorecards using JEE application ID and password. JoSAA seat allotment will begin in July 2024 tentatively.

IIIT Sri City admissions are offered to B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, M.Tech in Cyber Security, PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering. As per the IIIT Sri City admission process, candidates pursuing B.Tech have to appear for JEE Mains and get valid scores to be eligible for the JoSAA counselling. Candidates seeking IIIT Sri City admissions to M.Tech courses can either appear for GATE or sit for the admission test conducted by the institute itself. For IIIT Sri City admissions to PhD courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in a written test conducted by the institute. IIIT Sri City JEE Main Admissions Dates 2024

As per the IIIT Sri City admission process, applicants who wish to pursue B.Tech courses must have a valid score in JEE Main.

• Candidates have to first fill up the JEE Main application form
• Next they have to download the JEE Main admit card from the official website of NTA.
• Candidates have to then appear for the JEE Main 
• Release of JEE Main answer key
• JEE Main result declaration
• Candidates meeting the JEE Main cutoff, will be eligible for the JoSAA counselling followed by seat allotment.
• While choice filling candidates have to select IIIT Sri City has their preferred institute.
• After the seat allotment process, candidates have to pay the IIIT Sri City fees and get their documents verified.

IIIT Sri City B.Tech Admission Process-DASA

Candidates seeking IIIT Sri City admissions through DASA should have a valid JEE Main score and must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. 

• Candidates have to first fill in the DASA application form and pay the fees. 
• Candidates also have to submit a photocopy of their JEE Main score card along with the application form.
• DASA will prepare a merit list based on the JEE Main ranks.
• Candidates will be called for the DASA counselling process based on their JEE Main ranks and choice filling
• Lasty after the seats are allocated, candidates can pay the IIIT Sri City fees and get their documents verified.

IIIT Sri City admissions to M.Tech are done through Centralised Counselling for M.Tech (CCMT). Candidates have to appear for GATE and get valid scores to be eligible for CCMT.

• Candidates have to first fill out the GATE application form and submit it.
• Next candidates have to download the GATE admit card when available from the official website.
• Candidates have to appear for GATE.
• Declaration of GATE results.
• Candidates who meet the GATE cutoff will be eligible to participate in CCMT.
• Candidates are required to choose IIIT Sri City in CCMT portal in order to get IIIT Sri City admission.
• Lastly candidates have to pay the IIIT Sri City fees and get their documents verified.

 IIIT Sri City M.Tech Admission Process - Non-GATE

• Non-GATE category candidates who have graduated from CFTI institutes (Centrally Funded Technical Institute) with more than 8 CGPA will be selected on the basis of past academic records.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a coding test, followed by an interview at the institute.
• Non-GATE candidates from non-CFTI institutes or from CFTI institutes with less than 8 CGPA will be screened based on their past academic records.
• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a written test organised by IIIT Sri City. 
• Candidates who get valid marks will successfully pass the second screening. 
• Then those candidates will have to appear for a Coding Test followed by an Interview at IIIT Sri City. 
• Candidates with prior work experience will be given preference in the selection process.

• As per the IIIT Sri City admission process, candidates who wish to pursue PhD have to appear for a written test that will be conducted by the institute.
• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written test.
• Shortlisted candidates will then be called for a personal interview taken by the PhD. Admissions Interview panel of IIIT Sri City.
