Punjab Institute of Management and Technology Admission Criteria 2023
The Punjab Institute of Management and Technology admissions to the majority of the courses are based on merit. For the MBA courses in all specializations, the valid scores of exams like CAT, MAT, and, CMAT are also evaluated. The detailed eligibility criteria for all the regular and distance education programmes offered at the institute are mentioned below.

| BBA | Candidates must have passed class 12 or must have a 3-year diploma with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognised university/institute |
| BCA | Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board or must have completed a 3-year diploma in a relevant stream |
| PGDDM | Candidates must have completed graduation in a relevant discipline from a recognised university |
| MBA | Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream or should possess an equivalent degree from a recognised university Valid Scores of CAT/MAT/CMAT are also evaluated |
| MCA | Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects: engineering/ technology/ commerce/ business administration/ science/ computer application with Mathematics as one of the subjects OR Must have a PG Diploma in computer science or computer applications of a minimum of 1-year duration |
| BTTM | Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised board or an equivalent exam from a recognised board/university/council |

Punjab Institute of Management and Technology Admission Process 2023
The admission procedure at PIMT is simple. The institute accepts applications in an online mode through the official website of the institute. Thereafter, candidates are shortlisted after an evaluation of the merit of each candidate with respect to the eligibility criteria. The Punjab Institute of Management and Technology admission procedure is merit-based. Only for the MBA course, the scores of the national examinations like the CAT, MAT, and, CMAT are considered. The step-by-step application process to apply for the regular as well as assistance courses at PIMT is as follows:
Step 1: Go to the official website of PIMT which is pimt.in.
Step 2: The home page of the official website will have a button named ‘Admission 2023-24’. Right below it, there will be the ‘Register Now’ button.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Register Now’ button and the registration form will open in a new tab.
Step 4: Enter the details like name, mobile number, email id, course interested in, and, your message, and, register yourself as a fresh candidate.
Step 5: Click on the “Apply Now” button which is present at the bottom of the page and submit the Punjab Institute of Management and Technology admission form.
Step 6: Once successfully registered, log in and fill out the application form of the institute.
Step 7: Fill in all relevant information and attach the scanned copies of all documents in the prescribed format and sizes only.
Step 8: As the last step, pay the application fee and submit the form. The application fee for all courses at the UG and PG levels is Rs 3,000 for students of all categories. For MBA and MCA students, the application fee is Rs 5,000 for all categories.
