Overall: BIPIN TRIPATHI KUMAON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY formally known as KUMAON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (KEC) is renowned Engineering college for UG and PG courses like BCA, B.TECH, MCA, M.TECH, providing better carrer opportunities for different Engineering students. LOCATION. It situated in Almora district of Uttarakhand which connected throughout various important routes of uttarakhand's pilgrims center(Kedarnath,badrinath). Overall if we look at location of this college is surrounded by many tourist places famous for snow fall and other. FACULTY. This Institue provides good experienced facilities almost two or more facilities available for every subject with practical knowledge and lab . LIBRARY. Library available everyday for mornings 9:00 to evening 4:00 except Sunday. PLACEMENT: Too many companies approach every year with jobs for students who are interested in jobs. COMPANIES. INFOSIS, TCS, WOG, WIPRO,CAPGEMINI and many more. And many cultural and communication societies for personality development. BUT unfortunately we can cleary see that come branch like Mechanical engineering and civil engineering student don't get placement in their core. So they opt for I.T. jobs If we look for campus it is very nice and pretty attract many students which not belong from Uttarakhand or plain region of Uttarakhand.

Placement: Too many companies approach every in this Institue provides many job opportunities in different fields for many students . And one of the major issues of this placement is for core branch like Mechanical and civil engineering students so they have to opt for I.T.jobs .

Infrastructure: If we look for infrastructure in this college, it provides a great infrastructure and building with a excellent design with a central park and canteen facilities in campus. Also there is on campus SBI ATM .

Faculty: Very experienced and talented faculties available during the whole academic session for enthusiasts students. Many educational programs and tours organized by faculties for students like we attend a program in IIIT Allahabad.

Overall: The infrastructure is good, but facilities and equipment could be better. The quality of teaching is good, but placements are below average.

Placement: Director personally look into the placements. 6-8 lakh per annum is average package provided by the college.The placement ratio is good. Top industry companies are come for the placements.

Hostel: The new campus of B.T.K.I.T. Dwarahat will provide you with good facilities Canteen & Hostel are available on campus.

Placement: Placements are great. Collage will give you 100% to get you best companies for the Internships & Placements.

Infrastructure: Our campus is very good. College provide library, Wi-Fi etc. The quality of classrooms are very good. College cannot provide hostels but the cost effective PGs are available near the campus

Hostel: Canteen & Hostel are available on campus. The new campus of B.T.K.I.T will provide you with good facilities.Some time water problems occurs in summer time.

Placement: Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology has a training and placement cell that assists in the placement of the final year students. The BTKIT Dwarahat placement cell is headed by senior faculty members and student representatives. The cell has relations with various corporates and industries so that the students remain updated about the current industrial trends. The cell also conducts workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, webinars, group discussions, mock interviews, etc for the students to make them placement ready. For Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology placement, the training and placement cell also provides infrastructural facilities like seminar halls equipped with a video gallery, touch podium, projector, sound system, etc, computer rooms for aptitude tests, conference room for group discussions and many more. Major industries from public sectors, government sectors and armed forces have recruited the students of BTKIT Dwarahat. The college placement is on-campus and reputed companies visit the campus for the BTKIT Dwarahat placement drive. According to the placement requirement of some of the companies, students should also have 60% aggregate marks in Engineering degree. According to the BTKIT Dwarahat placement process, the college prefers ‘one student one offer policy’ where students who have succeeded to get the job offer of a company are not allowed to attend the subsequent interviews of other companies to give equal opportunity to other students. Some of the recruiters of BTKIT Dwarahat are Samsung, Bosch, Convergys, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Godrej, HCL, etc.

Infrastructure: throughout the year is good for studies. Facilities are also good they provide clean water in hostels and in college. Hostels are also clean and food is also hygienic. Academics I am a student of M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering. Quality of teaching is quite good because faculties here are too helpful

Girls hostel:- Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology girls hostel facilities include an uninterrupted supply of water, electricity, furniture, appliances and many more. Free wi-fi and mess facilities are also available. bank/ATM:- The college has an on-campus State Bank of India, also known as SBIKEC Dwarahat. It provides all modern banking services with a 24X7 ATM facility. Library:- The college campus has a central library. The college also has departmental libraries and is well-stocked with numerous textbooks and reference books of both Indian and foreign authors. The library resources also include national and international journals on Engineering, Humanities and Science, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, atlases, autobiographies, CD-ROMs, e-books, e-journals, etc. Book bank facility is available in the central library, where every student is issued 5 books every semester free of cost. The library also provides inter library loan service and a reprography facility.
