As per the notification, TNEA round 3 counselling process will get started on August 24, 2023 for KCT Coimbatore admission to B.Tech courses with the choice-filling process. Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) is an autonomous engineering college established over 30 years ago.  The institute was started by Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation, a charitable educational trust of Sakthi Group with an aim to deliver quality technical education to the aspiring youth. It is located in the IT corridor of Coimbatore and is affiliated to Anna University. KCT Coimbatore is an ISO certified institution that is accredited by the NAAC. • Under the Engineering Category of NIRF 2020, secured 82nd Position Kumaraguru College of Technology secured 82nd position.

• One of the 9 institutes in Tamil Nadu to appear consistently in Top 100 Institutions of NIRF including  IIT, NIT etc.

Student Achievements:

• Shravan. S (12BEC141), Sundar S (12BEC160), Shrinath K (12BEC144) of final year ECE won a cash price of 50,000/- (II place) for the project titled “Tennis Tutor” in the Annual Graphical System Design Contest NIYANTRA 2015 conducted by National Instruments India during October 2015.

• Shravan. S(12BEC141), Sundar S (12BEC160), Shrinath K (12BEC144) of final year ECE won a cash price of 7,500/- (II place) for the project titled “Smart card for Bus Transportation” from the Honourable Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in e-governance 2015 – 16, by the Govt. of Tamilnadu during November 2015.

• Abinaya. S (14BEC007), Arul Prasanth (14BEC019) and Arun Kumar T (14BEC211) participated in the final round of Mitsubishi Electric Cup –  A National Level Automation competition held at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Bibwewadi, Pune in the month of March 2016.

Faculty Achievements:

• Ms P. Pavithra was awarded “Young Women Achiever Award in the field of Communication and Network Engineering” from Venus International Foundation during March 2016.

• R. Karthikeyan bagged the Engal Aasan award from the Management on the account of Teachers day Celebration on September 2016.

• A. Vasuki was awarded the Best Faculty by cognizant Technology Solutions Ltd. In the year 2014.

• R. Karthikeyan bagged the Best Placement Coordinator award from the Management on the account of Teachers day Celebration on September 2014.

• S. Raghav Menon has been deputed for Post Doctoral Fellowship at South Africa for a period of one year.

• A. Kumaresan was deputed to take up Summer Faculty Research Fellowship Programme, IIT Delhi for a period of two months (18. 05. 2015 to 16. 07. 2015)

• S. Karthik has been deputed to take up Faculty Internship on Microelectronics at IIT Madras for a period of one month (19. 05. 2016 to 18. 06. 2016).

• 15 faculty members completed online certification courses conducted by various National / International universities

Kumaraguru College of Technology offers UG and PG courses mainly in the streams of Engineering, Management and Information Technology. The institute has 9 research centres for promoting R&D leading to a PhD or M.S degree. KCT has also entered into a collaboration with various universities overseas to provide global exposure to its students.

Apart from that, many Centres of Excellence (CoE) have been established at the institute for student’s knowledge enhancement, ongoing research development, and to conduct educational training programs, etc. The admission to its UG and PG courses is conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu administrated by Anna University.
