TANCET MBA 2021

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET MBA) 2021 registration has been closed on February 16 at 5:00 pm.

As per the available schedule, the downloading of the TANCET MBA 2021 Hall Ticket will start on March 5 and the TANCET MBA 2021 exam date is March 20, 2021. TANCET MBA 2021 is a state-level MBA entrance exam conducted every year by Anna University on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government. Admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course offered by various MBA colleges in Tamil Nadu is conducted through TANCET 2021.

Anna University has released the official notification for TANCET 2021 MBA Entrance Exam. Registrations for TANCET 2021 began on January 19 and were earlier supposed to go on till February 12 but Anna University extended the deadline to February 16 on the last day. TANCET MBA 2021 Eligibility Criteria

To apply forTANCET 2021 MBA, it is important for the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria for the same, it is only then the candidates will be allowed to appear in the entrance test. Listed below are the eligibility criteria for TANCET 2021.

Age Limit

  • Candidates should be at least 18 years of age to appear for the entrance test. There is no upper age limit for TANCET 2021.

Education Qualification

  • Candidates must have a bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized university in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% (general category candidates) or 45% aggregate marks (reserved category candidates).

  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in one of the following categories:

  • Candidates who are in the final semester of qualifying degree may also apply for TANCET 2021.

  • Other candidates of Tamil Nadu may also appear in the exam but the eligibility criteria will be specified by the admission officers.

NOTE: The following candidates are not eligible for TANCET 2021:

  • Candidates who have obtained their BE/BTech degree through distance learning.

  • Candidates with a degree obtained without studying class 10th, 12th or a 3 years degree programme.

  • Candidates with lateral entry admissions in all courses except BTech/ BE and MCA.

  • Candidates who are in the final year of professional courses such as AMIE.

TANCET MBA 2021 Application Process - Last Date Extended to Feb 16

The TANCET 2021 Application Form for MBA can only be filled through an online process. Anna University released the application form for TANCET MBA 2021 and registrations began on January 19, 2021, at 10:00 am. Candidates had to complete the registration for TANCET 2021 by the extended date i.e. February 16, 2021, 5:00 pm. Given below is the online application process of TANCET 2021.

Step 1: Click on the TANCET 2021 Registration Link available on the official website (tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet). The direct link to apply for TANCET 2021 is also given below.

Step 2: Complete the registration process.

Step 3: Upload the Community Certificate. This is necessary for candidates that require a concession in the application fee. Candidates who do not have a Community Certificate will have to pay the complete amount.

Step 4: After completing the application form, candidates will be redirected to the payments page. Candidates must make the payment online through the payment portal.

Step 5: Once the payment has been completed, candidates must fill all of the required details in the application form. Before submitting the form, candidates are asked to confirm that the information they entered is correct.

Step 6: Take a print out of the application form. The option to take a print out is only available for candidates with successful registrations. If you are unable to take a print out, check the status of your application and follow the instructions given.

TANCET MBA 2021 Entrance Test Fee

Candidates applying for TANCET 2021 have to pay an entrance test fee before they can submit their application. The fee payment can only be made through an online process. The application fee payment portal for TANCET 2021 opens after a candidate has complete the registration process. Given below is the entrance test fee for TANCET MBA 2021.

Reserved category candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu are given a 50% concession in the application fee. Candidates have to submit a valid community certificate before fee payment if they wish to avail the concession. Otherwise, the complete fee must be paid by the candidate.

The hall ticket of TANCET MBA 2021 is an essential document that must be carried by the candidate to the examination centre as well as to the selection process. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam or selections without the admit card. The downloading of TANCET MBA 2021 hall ticket will start on March 5, 2021. Candidates must also note the following important information regarding TANCET MBA Admit Card:

  • In case there is an error in the admit card of the candidate, they must contact the conducting body immediately for correction.

  • If the admit card is found lost after the test, a duplicate hall ticket can be obtained only on payment of Rs. 100/- Demand Draft, with a written request to The Secretary, TANCET Exam, Anna University, Chennai (Tamil Nadu)– 600 025, indicating the Registration No. or the Application No. along with the Name of the Examination Centre.

  • TANCET admit card is an important document and it is mandatory to carry it to the exam hall. The appearing candidates will not be allowed in the entrance examination without the admit card copy.

  • The Registration Number mentioned in the Hall Ticket will be needed to be entered at the appropriate place in the admission application form to be filled with the respective admitting authority later.

TANCET MBA 2021 Result

The results of TANCET 2021 will be declared by April 16 and the mark sheets will be available to download by April 20, 2021. Candidates can check their scores and download the scorecard by using their respective email ID as well as password.

Steps to Check TANCET MBA 2021 Result

  • To download the TANCET scorecard, log on to the official website of TANCET.

  • Click on the result tab and your email ID and password.

  • Click on the Download tab and download the same for future reference.

NOTE The scorecards will be available for download for a limited period.

TANCET MBA 2021 Mark SHeet

  • The TANCET mark sheet will contain all the necessary information about the student such as name, roll number, sectional and overall scores.

  • The candidates will be shortlisted for counselling on the basis of marks scored in TANCET 2019 and the final selection will be done on the basis of the combined score of written test and counselling.

TANCET MBA 2021 Counseling Process

After the declaration ofTANCET MBA 2021 result, a merit list of qualified candidates will be released on the basis of which, counselling will be held. The TANCET 2021 counselling will begin in May 2021. However, counselling dates may vary from college to college.
