National Power Training Institute, Durgapur was established in 1968. The college offers a total of five courses, of which one course is offered at the undergraduate level and the remaining courses are offered at the post-diploma level. The NPTI Durgapur Admissions to UG courses are made based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. The NPTI Durgapur Admissions to post diploma courses is made based on merit and interview. The college has a NPTI Durgapur placement cell that handles the placements of the students

NPTI Courses and Eligibility Criteria

NPTI offers Post Diploma Courses in Power Plant Engineering and Distribution and Substation Management. NPTI Admission to the Post Diploma course is on a merit basis with a Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering. NPTI also offers NPTI Short-term courses
