TNMC Mumbai Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

EXCELLENCE AWARD & CERTIFICATES OF MERIT:L

 One Excellence Award of Rs. 1 lakh and two Certificates of Merit of Rs 50,000 /- each are awarded to outstanding candidates in the final year of the MBBS Programme in colleges that are part of our scholarship programme.

 
CRITERIA FOR MERIT :

The criteria for deciding merit include the marks obtained in examinations and the candidate's overall performance in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities throughout their MBBS studies

 MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIPS :

50 Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships upto a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- each are awarded to the undergraduate students across all years of the MBBS programme. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

•  Candidates in the first year must have obtained 85% & above aggregate marks in class XII (HSC or equivalent)
• Candidates in the 2nd Year, 3rd Year- Part I & Part II of the MBBS programme must have obtained 65% and above aggregate marks in the previous year
• Gross family income of the candidates must be less than Rs. 6,00,000/-per annum d) Overall meritorious performance in the course of the year

 MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BOOKS:

50 scholarships of As 20,000/- each are awarded for the purchase of books to the undergraduate students across all years of the MBBS programme. It is purely a Merit based scholarship. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Candidates in the first year must have obtained 85% & above aggregate marks in class XII (HSC or equivalent)
• Candidates in the 2nd Year, 3rd Year- Part I & Part II of the MBBS programme must have obtained 75% and above aggregate marks in the previous year
• Overall meritorious performance in the course of the year 

POSTGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS :

20 scholarships of As 20,000/- each are awarded to meritorious students in the 1 st year of their postgraduate course. 
CRITERIA FOR MERIT The criteria for deciding merit include the candidate's academic and overall performance in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities throughout their MBBS programme. It is only applicable to the first year postgraduate students. 
STAFF FELLOWSHIPS 24 fellowships of Rs 20,000/- each are awarded for visiting and training at Centres of Excellence in India:

•  16 fellowships for Teaching and Paramedical Staff (b) 8 fellowships for Nursing and Technical Staff 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA::

• Candidates must have minimum 3 years of work experience in the same institution.

• The scholarships are applicable only to colleges included in the scholarship programme. 
• Students who have already applied in course of their 3rd Year Part I are eligible to apply for the scholarship only while they are enrolled for Part II of the course. 
• Students who have already applied in course of their 3rd Year Part II are not eligible to re-apply for the scholarship. 
• Students who have applied for other scholarships are also eligible to apply. 
• Incomplete applications and late submissions will not be considered. 
• Applicants must be Indian nationals residing in India. 
• Shortlisted applicants will be required to come for a personal interview. 
• *Award of scholarship is solely at the discretion of the Foundation
