Hindu College is among the most renowned colleges of the North Campus of DU. Students work towards securing a seat in the institute due to the edge it provides to their careers. The Hindu College placement drive is conducted by their placement cell “Disha” successfully carries out all placement-related activities each year. The success rates of the placements reach a high of 95% on average. Some of the top recruiters affiliated with the college are Google, Deloitte, HDFC, KPMG, Maruti, Jaypee, Ernst and Young, and Protiviti among others. Moreover, the highest placement package for the previous session was Rs 29 lakh per annum.
The college has separate societies and cells for placements and internships. The placement cell “Disha” conducts all pre-placement activities. Disha collaborates with reputed companies and invites them to participate in the Hindu College placement process. It conducts workshops, personality development sessions, skill development, and mock interview sessions to train students. Disha as a placement cell aims to make students industry-ready and confident individuals who can leave a mark behind wherever they go.
“Abhyas” is the internship cell of Hindu College. The cell acts as a mediator between students and industry recruiters. It was established in 2013 with the aim of building a link between professionals and students. Abhyas brings internship opportunities in various fields like business, corporate, media, professors, NGOs, and start-ups through the medium of internships, memberships and volunteer ships. Not just this, it also acts as a training body to polish students on academic and personality levels. Some of the top recruiters associated with Abhyas are NITI Aayog, OYO, NDTV, IDBI Federal, Zomato Feeding India, Outlook, CNBC, etc. The efforts of Disha and Abhyas together glorify the Hindu College Placement brochure with student achievements each year.
