Since all of the above course are core science programmes, candidates must have passed class 12 board exams with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (Biology for Biotechnology courses) as compulsory subjects. Along with this requirement, you must also secure at least 50% marks in class 12 exams from a recognised board of education. Although there no uniform eligibility criteria for admission in BCA, some institutes have mandated that all aspirants must have completed 10+2 with PCM. Selection Process for Non-B Tech Courses
Admission process will vary from university to university. Popular universities like the Delhi Universities take admission on the basis of Merit. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in class 12. There are universities that conduct entrance exams for admission such as the Banaras Hindu University, Jamia Millia Islamia University, etc. Exams conducted for courses include JMIEE-B Sc(Hons), BHU UET B.Sc, etc.
