The CAT percentile score is crucial for MBA aspirants seeking admission to some of the top B-schools in India. It serves as the basis for selecting candidates for the next stage of the admission process. Therefore, the CAT exam is highly competitive, as it determines an individual's eligibility for the MBA selection process at their chosen management institute.
It is important to note that a high CAT percentile score alone does not guarantee admission to top B-schools in India. However, it places candidates at the top of the list for MBA admission at colleges that accept 90 percentile and above.
