Scholarships for Engineering Students In India

Scholarships for Engineering Students In India - Engineering as a career in India attracts plenty of students every year in a big way. A large number of students appear for some of the major engineering exams such as JEE Main, BITSAT, SRMJEEE, JEE Advanced, and VITEEE with an aim to grab admissions in the best engineering courses at the top engineering colleges in the country. While doing that, scholarships for engineering students in India are explored by a large chunk of candidates. In this article, we have tried to describe the different engineering scholarships in India for different category of students along with the dates of applications and other eligibility and application process details.

The field of engineering studies is considered to be a very diverse one as it opens up numerous job opportunities and career growth avenues for technologically driven enthusiasts in the country. Pursuing courses such as B.Tech and B.E., M.Tech and M.S. and Ph.D. in engineering disciplines is extremely rewarding and allows scope for creativity and thinking where one gets to work as a part of a team and make a real impact on the world around. However, at the same time, pursuing engineering can prove to be a costly affair and a lot of students may not be able to pursue it due to the financial constraints. There are some government funded institutes where the fee structure may not be very high (such as IIT B.Tech fee structure) and then there are other private engineering colleges in India that have a very high fee structure.

To support and encourage meritorious students and help them in fulfilling their dream, several universities and organisations offer various scholarships. The eligibility criteria and how to apply for these scholarships are listed below.

To request a course change, students must fill out a specific form and pay the required fee within the university's set schedule. LPU reserves the right to approve or deny the course change. If approved, the student must pay the new …
