The Sadakathullah Appa College Library has emerged as a Knowledge Resource Centre mainly catering to the information needs of the Faculty, Research Scholars and Students. The College Library functions from 1971, since its inception. Library is shelved in as an independent department in the campus with a floor area of nearly 2,000 sq.ft. Library users have always cherished memories of availing the services of this treasure-house of documents in the past decades. A rare collection of journals in literature are present in this library in foreign language such as Arabic. Automation of this library consisting of over a forty thousand documents was made possible by the initial financial support of the UGC grants under the head "College Management" and Government of Tamilnadu. The Library is in the process of modernization. We are proud to say that our library is fully automated. We have issued identity cards to the students with bar-codes. The e-gate facility enables to monitor the entry, exit, book issue and book return of the students.
