CMRIT cutoff will be released by KEA at the time of KCET counselling which is expected to begin in June 2024. Candidates who are interested in CMRIT admission must be aware of the course wise cutoff. As per previous years cutoff analysis, the expected cutoff is 11595 - 11599 for the BE CSE course through the KCET. Candidates who wish to get admission to the BTech ISE course at CMRIT must aim for a rank between 15580 - 15585 in KCET. Similarly, for CSE (AI & ML) and CSE (DS), the expected cutoff for CMRIT is 16845 - 16849 and 18260 - 18265 respectively. Admission to BE courses at CMRIT is done through the KCET scores.

CMRIT cutoff for BTech courses is also released on the basis of COMEDK exam score. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges in Karnataka releases the cutoffs. CMRIT cutoff 2024 will be released during the counselling process starts in the last week of May 2024 (expected). CMRIT cut off for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) is expected to be in the range of 8903-8908 ranks for the GM category candidates in 2024. If the difficulty of the COMEDK exam increases in 2024, then the cutoff will go up for CMRIT. CMRIT cutoff for BTech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning is expected to remain between 31889 and 31894 ranks in 2024 for the KKR category.

According to the cutoff trends for CMRIT from 2021 to 2023 analysis, the cutoff for CSE has seen a significant rise over the past three years. In 2021, the cutoff was 9159, which jumped to 11901 in 2022, and further increased to 11599 in 2023. Moreover, the cutoff trend for ISE has also been increased. In 2021, the cutoff was 12350, which increased to 14684 in 2022 and further to 15584 in 2023. The AI & ML programme cutoff in 2022 was 16174 which saw a very slight increase to 16845 in 2023. The CMRIT cutoff for CSE (DS) programme also increased from 17830 in 2022 to 18260 in 2023. Apart from this, BE in Artificial Intelligence programme was discontinued after the 2021 admissions, and the cutoff for 2021 was 18111.
