What is MBBS Full Form?

A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a professional degree in science and medicine. The duration of the MBBS program is 5.5 years, including a year of internship. The course aims to impart knowledge and train aspiring doctors on the various health conditions, diagnostic procedures, medicine and surgical procedures.

What is BAMS Full Form?

BAMS full form is Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. The 5.5-year course deals with the knowledge of Ayurveda and traditional Ayurvedic medicine.  

  • Eligibility: At least 50% aggregate marks in (10 + 2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the core subjects

What is BHMS Full Form?

BDS or Bachelor of Dental Surgery is the only professionally approved dental course in India. The duration of the program is 5 years, after the completion of which, candidates can practice dentistry in private and Government dental colleges in the country.

What is BUMS Full Form? 

A Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery is a 5.5-year undergraduate program that involves the application of the Unani system and medical knowledge.

What is MD Full Form? 

MD full form is Doctor of Medicine. It is a postgraduate degree spanning over a duration of 3 years. Usually, students looking to pursue higher studies after MBBS choose to go for this course. Admission to MD courses in India is done through NEET PG exams.

What is BPT Full Form?

What is ANM Full Form?

ANM full form is Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery. It is an undergraduate diploma program focused on the fundamental knowledge of nursing. During the 2-year course, candidates are taught how to set up an OT, take care of medical equipment, and provide timely medication to patients.

What is GNM Full Form?

GNM full form is General Nursing Midwifery. Like ANM, GNM is also an undergraduate diploma course, the duration of which is 3 years. Candidates are also required to complete a 6-month internship as part of the final year curriculum. The course deals with the knowledge of medical nursing, gynaecology and obstetrics, and involves caring for the diseased or injured to speed up recovery.

Hello Mallikarjun,

To secure admission at AIIMS Delhi, you have to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test  (NEET) exam and secure a valid rank. The minimum percentile required for admission to the institute for SC category candidates is 40 percentile. The minimum marks required is 136-107 for SC category candidates.
