At LPU the M Sc maths program is designed to strengthen student’s mathematical background by in-depth knowledge of mathematical concepts. The learner has to do a unique three term thesis keeping in mind the research centricity.
Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) (with Mathematics as a subject) or B.Tech. or B.E. or B.Sc. (Engineering) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.

This course is specifically designed to help the students to crack competitive exams like GATE, NET and to gain more knowledge of courses other than regular courses.

Acquaint teacher trainees with the nature of the school subject, including its relation to disciplinary, the aims and pedagogical approaches for the teaching of the subject at different stages of school.
