• Class 12 marks: Candidates must have received a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 examinations from any recognised board. This criterion is compulsory for undergraduate admissions at BIT. Students with a diploma pursued after class 10 can also apply to UG courses. How to get Admission to Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur for various courses 2023

Some courses at BIT Jaipur require entrance exam scores while some only have basic minimum eligibility. Refer to the basic eligibility for a straightforward admission process. 

• B.Tech. in CSE/ECE/EEE - Students have to have a valid score in JEE Main along with class 12 qualification or equivalent in relevant subjects with 45% aggregate from a recognised university/board for Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur admissions. 
• BCA - Candidates must have class 12 qualification or equivalent in relevant subjects with 50% aggregate from a recognised university/board. Mathematics/Computer Science/IT should be chosen as one of the subjects.

• MSc - Candidates must have a B.Sc. (Animation and Multimedia) / Bachelor of Fine Art / Bachelor in Performing Arts with minimum 50% marks (45 % for SC/ST). For other candidates they must be graduates in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45 % for SC/ST) and 1 year of experience in a creative field. Provisional selections for the M.Sc. Animation Design Programme will be made based on qualifying exam scores, job experience, and a personal interview, assuming that candidates meet the eligibility requirements. 
• Ph.D - Candidates must have a M.Tech. / M.E. / M.Sc. (Engg.)/M.Sc./ MCA / MBA or equivalent degree in relevant branch from a recognised University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a ten point scale in qualifying examination. Candidates with B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc. (Engg.) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 80 percent marks or 8.0 CGPA on a ten-point scale in the qualifying examination and a valid GATE/GPAT score with a minimum of 80 percentile are eligible to apply for admission in the departments of their specialisation. Note that in this situation, students must pass a greater number of qualifying Pre-PhD exams.
• The applicants will be provisionally selected for the Ph.D. programme based on their performance in the Written Test, Academic Performance, and Interview. Those who have passed the UGC-CSIR/DBT/BINC/ICMR-JRF and other all-India fellowships-based written test for Ph.D. admission may be exempt from the Written Test, but they must still attend the interview.

Counselling process for B.Tech admissions at BIT Jaipur 

JoSAA 

• JoSAA was created in order to streamline the process of maintaining, conducting, and allocating seats to eligible candidates for JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
• As a result, JoSAA assists qualified candidates in obtaining admission to JoSAA participating institutes through seat allotment.
• Applicants who have passed JEE Main or JEE Advanced will be eligible to participate in the JoSAA Counseling 2023.
• Candidates must first go to the official website for JoSAA Counselling.
• Following that, they must select their chosen JoSAA colleges and courses from the list provided.
• Following the announcement of the JEE Main 2023 results, the JoSAA 2023 Counseling schedule will be posted on the official website.
• Finally, seats are assigned depending on the applicant's overall ranking (AIR), category, and seat availability, among other variables.
• After counselling, the JoSAA 2023 Cut Off Ranking, Opening and Closing Ranks are revealed. Candidates can look into the JoSAA Counselling 2021 Cut Off for universities to get a sense of what the projected cut off would be.
• The full procedure of allocation will be completed online.
• After the students have been assigned seats, they must have their documents confirmed and pay the cost at the designated college.
• This is essential in order to confirm their acceptance.
• From the first week of September 2023, the JoSAA counselling and seat allotment process is expected to begin.

CSAB

• The registration for CSAB Counselling 2023 will be performed in two stages, as well as a Spot Counselling Round. Candidates must adhere to the above-mentioned pre-allotment procedures.

Bachelor of  Technology ( B.Tech) at Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur

Students  must register themself for JoSAA or CSAB counselling. 

For JoSAA

• JEE Main Counselling Registration: First and foremost, candidates must register on the JoSAA 2023 official website. Students have to use their JEE Main application form number and password to access the JoSAA candidate portal. 
• The candidates' details will be instantly collected from the JEE Main 2023 database after a successful login. Double-check all of the information before submitting.
• Fill in your preferences: After registering, candidates must select their preferred institute and courses. Students have to list BIT Jaipur as a preference. Students are encouraged to make as many choices as possible in order to maximise their chances of acceptance. 
• It's worth noting that JoSAA 2023 choice filling must be completed before the deadlines.
• Mock seat allotment and choice locking: The authorities will also conduct two mock seat allocations to assist candidates in determining their chances of being admitted to the colleges. 
• Candidates will be able to see which seats are available to them based on their preference list by participating in a mock seat allotment process. After the mock allotment, candidates will be free to change their preferences.
• Final seat allotment: There will be six rounds of seat allotment conducted by JoSAA. The JoSAA seat allocation process will be based on merit, category, selected preferences, and seat availability. All candidates who have been assigned a seat will be able to receive a provisional seat allotment letter as well as an e-challan to pay the seat acceptance fee online.
• There are 3 options during the JoSAA JEE Main seat allotment
  • Freeze - When a candidate is pleased with the seat he or she has been assigned and does not choose to go to the next phase of counselling.
  • Float - When a candidate is happy with their seat but wants to be considered for other institutes during future seat distribution rounds.
  • Slide - When a candidate accepts the seat given to them but is also open to being admitted to a higher chosen course at the same institute.
• Fee payment: Candidates who have been assigned seats must pay the seat acceptance fee by e-challan or SBI net banking. The price for accepting a seat will vary depending on the candidate's category.
• If a candidate has accepted the seat they have to report to the institite in this case BIT Jaipur for document verification.

For CSAB

• Registration - To register, candidates must go to the official website and enter their JEE Main 2023 application form number and password.
• Filling out the application and locking in choices - After that, they must choose their colleges/institutions and courses for admissions. 
• The final choice must be made in order of preference. Before the deadline, all of the options must be checked and locked. After the candidates have sealed their choices, no changes can be made.
• Seat allocation - Candidates can only check their seat allocation online. The exam officials will post the seat allotment result on the official website. 
• Seats will be assigned based on merit, preferences, and seat availability. Candidates must obtain a PDF copy of their allotment letter.
• Finally, they will have to report to their designated institute ie Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur and have their original documents verified. 
• By paying the requisite counselling charge, the given seats must be confirmed.
• Students then have to visit the allotted institute for document verification and confirmation of admission. 

BBA, BCA  and B.Sc at Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur

• Eligible candidates must fill up and submit an online application form.
• Students ahve to fill in their class 12 marks and class 10 marks. Foe students whose results havent been announced they can apply provisionally. 
• Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500 for general/OBC applicants and INR 1,000 for SC/ST candidates by net banking, debit card, or credit card.
• Candidates should only fill out the Online Application Form if they meet all of the eligibility requirements.

MBA at Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur

• Candidates first have to fill out the registration form on the BIT website. 
• After successfully registering candidates can now move on to filling out the application form. 
• Candidates have to submit their academic credentials including their CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores and graduating degree marks.
• Upload all mark sheets of each year from the qualifying degree course.
• Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500 for General/OBC applicants and INR 1,000 for SC/ST candidates using net banking, debit card, or credit card.
• Take a printout of your submission because you will need it for the GD and PI.

MCA at Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur

• A signup screen will display, prompting the candidate to create a user ID and password.

• BIT will conduct a national-level online computer-based test to shortlist students for admission to its two-year [four-semester] full-time MCA programme. 
• Candidates are recommended to download their admission cards from the BIT website. Candidates should contact the Admissions Office at BIT if they are unable to download the admit card. The candidates' scores will be shown on the computer screen at the conclusion of the online test. You may make a mental note of it for future reference.

MSc at Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur

• To fill out the online application form, go to the "APPLY ONLINE" page to register for the programme and create a password. Do not reveal the password to anyone. Instructions for completing the online application form can be found here.
• Candidates must complete and submit the application form online only if they are eligible.
• Pay the application fee of 1,500 INR (for general, OBC, and EWS applicants) and 1,000 INR (for SC/ST candidates) through the Online Payment Gateway (candidates may use net banking, debit card, or credit card of any nationalised bank) until the application deadline. The fee will not be reimbursed once it has been paid.

• Admit card will be issued on 15th June 2022 
• MCA entrance test will be held on 19th June 2022 
• Result of this entrance test will be declared on 29th June 2022 

Ph.D

• Filling of online Ph.D application form will start from 1st April 2022
