The selection process for PGD at EMDI comprises two stages. All applicants have to sit for an entrance test conducted by the institute. For admission to PGD in Event Management, candidates are selected on the basis of their scores in the qualifying examination.

EMDI Institute of Media and Communication offers diploma courses in Wedding Planning and Event Management. Students have to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for diploma courses at EMDI if they wish to take admission to either of these courses. All candidates have to complete their education up to the higher secondary level in order to be eligible for diploma courses at EMDI.
