Nirma University Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

Nirma University Admission 2024 is ongoing for UG and PG courses. For B.Des admissions, UCEED 2024 results has been released on the official website (uceed.iitb.ac.in). Further, JEE Main session 2 exam will be held from April 4 to 15, 2024 for BTech admissions at the university.

Nirma University admission is provided for diploma, UG, PG, PG diploma, integrated and doctoral courses such as B.Tech, B.Pharma, M.Sc, BA LLB, M.Tech, PhD etc. Nirma University admission is offered on merit basis and marks obtained by candidates in concerned entrance exam. The university accepts various state and national level entrance examinations scores for admission. CAT scores are accepted for Nirma University MBA admission, whereas GATE score is considered for M.Tech admission. 

Candidates who are interested in admission in courses offered by Nirma University must fulfill the eligibility criteria before apply for admissions. Eligible candidates can fill Nirma University application form 2024 via online or offline mode. 

Students have to register themselves on the Nirma University official website. Then, candidates must log on to the specific institute under NU and check the basic requirements before filling out the application form. Nirma University Ahmedabad's admission process varies from course to course. Nirma University Ahmedabad has seven fields of education for undergraduate programmes. Therefore, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility for their preferred course to fill out the Nirma University application form. Here are the main criteria that candidates must fulfil to get a seat in this institution:

• Higher Secondary Marks:

Clearing the Class 12 exam is the minimum qualifying criterion for UG admission at Nirma University Ahmedabad. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognized board qualify for the courses offered directly to B.Com.

• Graduation Marks:

Candidates who have passed graduation with relevant streams will directly qualify for the PG courses at Nirma University Ahmedabad.

• Other Methods:

The candidates must submit their entrance exam scores to be eligible for admission to some UG and PG courses at Nirma University Ahmedabad. In addition, they will also have to pass the personal interviews, written tests, and portfolio reviews for some courses.

• Read the eligibility section of the Nirma University admission information bulletin very carefully. Please check that you meet the minimum admission requirements and the other conditions outlined in the information bulletin when selecting a course. You will not be considered for admission if you do not meet the minimum requirements outlined in the entrance booklet.
• Some fields on the Nirma University application form are required and are marked with an asterisk (*). These fields must be filled out completely for your application to be deemed valid. The online form does not have to be completed in one session. 
• You can save your form's entries and return to it later to finish it in more than one sitting. Remember to click the ‘save’ button whenever you make a change or entry in the form. Fields like first name, last name, date of birth, and email address are required and cannot be changed. If you make any errors in these fields, you must contact the help desk to get them corrected.

There are three sections to the application form:

• The website/ admission portal will provide details such as the entrance exam cutoff, personal interview (PI), and theme development & presentation (TDP) dates and places will be provided on the website/ admission portal. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the Nirma University website/ admission portal for updates.
• Nirma University does not have any category-specific reservations, with the exception of 15% for NRI/ NRI sponsored & international students. The category information sought is solely for statistical purposes.
• Final dates, such as the announcement of the selected candidates' list and the fee payment, can be found in the admission section of the Nirma University admission portal. Candidates should check the Nirma University official website and student dashboard for updates regularly.
• After the final merit list is announced, candidates can check their PI/ TDP results on the website and student dashboard. Only selected candidates will receive a soft copy of the offer letter.

International students with non-Indian passports (FN) or international students with non-Indian passports and the OCI or PIO card (OCI/PIO) can also apply under the OCI/PIO/FN supernumerary category, which has a 10% intake reserved. For all programs, there are extra seats available. Students from SAARC nations are also included in this group. Students from SAARC pay the same tuition as students from other countries.

• According to Gujarat government rules, 15% of the intake will be filled up under the NRI/NRI Sponsored category. According to UGC rules, Genuine NRIs, ‘Persons of Indian Origin’ (PIO), ‘Foreign Nationals’ (FN), and ‘Children of Indians Working in Gulf Countries’ (CIWGC) and students in ‘South East Asia’ (SEA) shall receive 15% supernumerary seats over and above the NRI category.
• Admission under the ‘NRI Sponsored Category’ will be based only on the CLAT 2022 score, whilst no qualification exam is required for the FN/ PIO/ CIWGC-SEA categories. CLAT 2022, on the other hand, is given priority.
• NRI/ FN/ PIO/ CIWGC-SEA fee structure – US $7500 per annum or Rs 44,200 (inclusive of all, excluding refundable deposits, university fees, and student activity costs Rs 44,200)

The Counselling procedure for Nirma University includes some important steps. Follow some of the pointers given below to approach the counselling procedure with ease:

• A candidate whose name is listed on the merit list has to fill the choice of the branch (course-specific) according to their preference, and this step of choice filling needs to be completed on the Nirma University official website.
• The candidate can make changes in the choice filled earlier by them and then lock the choice as it needs to be locked as the final one. Thus, editing and locking of choice must be required to complete choice filling.
• The Nirma University admission authority will then allot the seats to applicants, which will be done based on the choice filled by the candidate, availability of seats for that particular branch, JEE Main 2023 score, GUJCET 2023 score, and the academic record of the applicant.
• The selected candidate for Nirma University Admission 2023 needs to pay an amount as the Nirma University application fee at the Counselling venue.
• Candidates who qualify for the Nirma University admission process need to reach the counselling venue to confirm their seats.
