Firstly, the candidate can apply through an online medium wherein they can visit the university's official website and apply for the selected program. There would be an option for paying initial admission fees, which can be paid via net banking, credit/debit cards or through UPI as well. The candidate can also visit the university office in person and collect the admission form. While submitting, the candidate needs to pay the admission process fee, which is INR 500, to the office counter

Yes, Swami Vivekananda University has a lateral entry option but only for B.Tech. Program. Lateral entry will be offered only to third-year Diploma and B.Sc degree holders only in the following courses: Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The option is available only to take admission in the second year of B.Tech. course and this also depends upon the final marks of the candidate in their last year of diploma or the B.Sc

The team provides counselling to students who have just cleared their 10th standard or the SSC and educates them about various diploma fields available at the University. The counselling team also provides counselling to candidates who have cleared their 12th standard or HSC, which helps them make an informed decision for their career.

The candidate should have completed their 10 + 2 years of education from a recognized institute. Apart from this, the candidate should have also attempted and cleared any of the entrance exams which the University accepts. The list of entrance exams that the University accepts are WBJEE, CET; The cut off list for various streams varies every year.
